A Guardian readers response to an article about Gordon Browns upcoming speech to the US Senate. "For the love of God, will someone please make sure he doesn't tuck his socks into his trousers before he gives his speech." It was a sales pitch to the world to put its faith in the US and UK leadership because only these two countries can pull all of us out of the crisis, they are our only hope.
