As I am sure you are aware, working in any shape or form in Thailand for expat requires a work permit, which entails time and money for a company.. My advice would be to go to Thailand, start living here and after a while you will understand how society works and you will for sure have some contacts if youre not only hiding in your apartment. That is what I like to hear, thank you, but the trainee/ internship places are at Multinational companies, right, or does also thai companies take in foreign trainees? I had a paid internship in Thailand in 2005 through the IAESTE exchange program. Some people worked for large international companies, and some worked as assistants at various Universities.
