stonny
Went with Jack Golf Visa Run service to Poipet. The usual was they charged 2200baht for the service where they used a mini bus to drive you to Poipet and then back. The fees included the visa fees as well. As usual, the whole trip is mostly made up of Koreans doing visa runs as well. However this time, I was told that I had to pay 2700baht instead. I asked why. I was told that the Poipet immigration side is collecting 500baht more for Singapore, Taiwan and Hongkong Passports. Hmmm, I wonder why such discriminations? The Koreans are still paying 2200baht by the way? Anyway, since I had to do a visa run, I just went ahead with paying it. Anyone had such experience? dr_Pat_Pong
There's absolutely no official cost difference for visa fees based on nationalities. It is either a rort by the officers there, or the operator, or both.
PK2
I've seen some nationalaties (South American) on tour trips I've made get an extra 500B charge at Poipet. Something to do with the digital photo taken by Imm Official and extra docs needed to cross into Cambodia and back which others in group didn't need.
