Can anyone tell me what the limit is for transfering funds from the Uk to Thailand without the Thai bank witholding part of it for 12 months? In our case will will transfer from the Halifax to Bangkok Bank in Thailand. Thanks very much, and has anyone else heard about the Thai Baht getting a lot stronger against the US Dollar, and do you think this is likely to have a knock on effect on the Pound/Baht exchange rate?
