Hi People

Does anyone know if you can transfer money using online banking from my thai Kasikorn account to my UK account ?

Im currently in the UK so I think online banking maybe my only option, if its possible.

Has anybody done this or does anyone have any other ideas of how to get the money over to here ?

I'm fairly sure it's not possible to do this via Kasikorn's internet banking; I've asked in the bank and consistently been told it's not possible to do overseas transfers, only within Thailand.

I asked a similar question about overseas transfers a couple of months ago in this thread here and got some responses. I've not got around to doing anything about them yet though and if you're in the UK and not coming back to Thailand, they may not be much use to you.

Some Kasikorn ATM cards can be used internationally so that would be one way to get money out. I've only done that once to test it and can't remember what the fees were.

unlikely as all funds i beleive have to pass thru Bangkok Bank when leaving/coming into.

drug money laundering and all that stuff....
