Sunbelt Asia Posted June 7, 2012 Share Posted June 7, 2012 There are no limits to the amount of foreign currency you can bring into Thailand but you must each declare any amount exceeding US$20,000 to Customs on arrival to be permitted to take the money out of Thailand later. You cannot take out more than the equivalent of 50,000 Baht without clearing it first. The UK generally requires that you declare any amount over 10,000 Euro that you are taking out of the country.
