Asiantravel
Could anyone suggest why I seem to be unable to access just one particular Website and yet no one else seems to be having this problem ? I have had this problem now for many days regarding this website. The website in question is The Cambodian Government Electronic Visa Website http://www.mfaic.gov.kh/evisa/ I have tried on both Explorer and Firefox but on both I keep getting the message The connection was reset The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading. The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments. If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection. If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web. And yet I have no problem with any other websites. Could this be due to some setting in my computer ?
Tywais
On 3BB Chiang Mai and I also get the same message. However, using my US VPN connection I can get to it alright. Maybe an ISP blocking in error as I've seen recent reports of similar problems for Cambodia and Myanmar. What ISP are you using and your location (City)? jsat
Works fine on True in BKK E-Visa Make Your Trip Happen To The Kingdom Of Wonder! The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has launched e-Visa, which enables you to apply for a Cambodia tourist visa online. Instead of applying through Cambodian Embassy, all you need to do is to complete the online application form and pay with your credit card. After receiving your Visa through email, print it out and bring it along when you travel to Cambodia.

AyG
You could look at the Google cache of the page at http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:oGV0ola4YjgJ:www.mfaic.gov.kh/evisa/+&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk if you're still having problems. george
It's your ISP's DNS records that is outdated. Add 8.8.8.8 as your primary DNS and you should be fine.

happysanook
from microsoft: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-vista/change-tcp-ip-settings or, a bit easier to follow (with pictures http://www.sevenforu...indows-7-a.html skip through the opening paragraphs and go down to step 1. in step 7, when entering the primary DNS, put 8.8.8.8 as suggested, instead of what's in the tutorial. happysanook
i'm unable to access this site as well...Normally, or by changing my DNS. I did have success with http://ultrafastproxy.com/ . Enter the URL you want to go to in the box; I left the default checked settings as they were. I clicked the link at the bottom for filling out the app, and the form looks usable. Note that occasionally ultrafastproxy may pop up some easily closeable ads as you use their service. Edited August 3, 2012 by happysanook
yankee99
you need to contact your isp. i think unsaid 3bb. that is going to be your only solution without a proxy. it is a internal routing issue....

edwardandtubs
You definitely don't want to pay for anything using an open proxy - all your details will be visible to whoever has access to the proxy. I'm also unable to access the website using 3bb, who haven't responded to my email. Also my emails to [email protected] are bouncing so I wonder if something is wrong with the mfaic website. Tywais
so I wonder if something is wrong with the mfaic website. Not likely as I still can't get to their site from 3BB Chiang Mai but as soon as I turn on my U.S. VPN it comes right up. Still suspect a routing table issue.
edwardandtubs
They've fixed the problem now. All it took was an email to 3bb. [moan] Why didn't someone else do it earlier? [/moan]
