Friend who works at a major cell operation said his company has a "limited" supply of iPhone 5's on hand and plans on releasing them next week. Due to the limited supply they will only become available at the largest of Bangkok malls. According to the individual their company also plans on beginning an ordering plan which may take up to two months to finally get the phone to the customer. He mentioned Apple intends to get even a limited supply chain started due to Samsung introducing the Galexy 3 S Mini which will also be here by month's end. This phone will run the Jelly Bean OS.

Interesting. And, dammit, I am in Chiang Mai, and we won't get it here, same as last time.

Demand for this one seems to be through the roof, unfortunately. Even by Apple/iPhone standards. This is going to be the biggest yet by far.
