Question On Retirement Extention

Recommended Posts

I have just acquired a non immigrant single entry B visa which will expire on the 9th July. I want to apply for a retirement extention, but I wont have the necessary 800000 baht on my account before the end of May.

My question is, what is my next step?

Thanks

Tony

Yes - a single entry non immigrant O visa would be the best choice but you can also return on a tourist visa or even visa exempt and then use proof of financials meeting retirement extension to obtain the visa 90 day entry directly from immigration in a 2,000 baht conversion process.

You do not need to leave for a couple of months.

head to Penang,KL, Singapore, laos, Phnom Penh, Rangoon etc etc an get a non imm "O" based on the fact you are over 50,

Than come back in, put the 800,000 in the bank ( note the first extension it only need be seasoned 2 months not three)

and apply for the extension.
