Fogged Up Headlight Cleaner

I just gave my pickup its annual waxing whistling.gif and ran out of wax. So I looked for something else in the cupboard and found some Karshine Scratch Remover: http://karshine.com/shop/karshine-scratch-remover

I wondered whether it would do any good with the fogged up headlights, which I've tried cleaning with all sorts of stuff over the years, to no avail.

The results are amazing:

Just like to say I am not affiliated with Karshine or any car cleaning product retailer. wink.png

Toothpaste and Baking Soda, a toothbrush and a few minutes.

Same same.

I'll do the rear lights tomorrow, but can't remember if they need it.

Maybe do one with Colgate and the other with Karshine and see which is more effective... " rolleyes.gif

I use Colgate on my 10 year old vigo.

Somebody else suggested that to me years ago.

I thought they were joking and never tried it.

Doh! facepalm.gif

No joke, it works, my dad showed me that decades ago before scratch remover was even a common product..
