Using LINE to plan a bomb attack!!???

When you are dead you cannot suffer because you are dead and would not know that you are dead. It is those around you that are suffering.

Pretty much the same goes for being STUPID!

Planning terrorist attacks using online services like LINE is just plain stupid. I assume the authorities are withholding this woman's name as it involves national security.

maybe not a red but aligned to someone else.

Care to give us a list of likely, make that possible, candidates? Perhaps you should change that to a straw-clutching "anybody else".

No. They have identified or accused certain people involved with reds and had no problems what so ever doing that. Some reds have denied being connected but have been named and shamed prior to being proven guilty. Now they have the Co ordinators of the crime and say oops, can't name them. Where these reds offered large money maybe 10k or more to carry out acts by people that the Junta is terrified to name? People on here say reds will slaughter thier own mothers for a single satang, so why wouldn't they work for a government protected Co ordinator. Just a question and not conspiousy

The strangest part of this particular act of terrorism is that the perpetrator took his mobile phone with him. This is a vital piece of information to the police, or to anyone really. When I get home at night my wife looks at my recent calls, dialed numbers, emails sent, internet sites recently visited. It's a treasure trove of information even the suspicious wife.

my wife check my ones only to be sure, how many times a called her this day ,

but she missed to pick up my calls;

she never look to any other things :-)))

I think the proper term is "Pu$$ywhipped"........

She's a human rights activist according to last nights BP.

They have plenty of reasons to bomb criminal courts , the ongoing case in Koh Tao amongst many others are reasons enough to do what they did.

Are you suggesting a Thai HR activist would suddenly bomb a court? With no previous HR activist ever doing such a thing here? With no previous or post announcement to claim responsibility and get the publicity for the points they were trying to make?

Or that anyone has a justifiable reason to bomb a court?

As others have said - "clutching at straws".

Is there an organization that has a track record at throwing bombs at courts, judges, protesters, especially at times when a certain family members are facing court trials? Much too obvious, must false flag, conspiracy, or some never before violent anonymous fringe group. Anyone but the Shin gang - their non elected leader have denied it and they wouldn't lie would they........... Oops that's another track record - lying.

Precedents aside, there is nothing that any of us know that tells us the court attack was instigated by the Red Shirt movement.

But the precedents are there, and logic would suggest what you are alluding to. This is most unfortunate for the Red Shirt movement... but then, I suppose, if they have a problem being labelled as arsonists, grenade throwers or whatever else, maybe they should have thought about that earlier.

Just out of curiosity, I have a couple of questions for baerboxer.

Why did they attack a courthouse, at night that was empty , with a grenade that isn't going to cause any constructal damage apart from a few shrapnel marks rather than instead attack the judges in question from the red shirt trial in or on their way home therefor making a serious statement of intent?

What happened to the other 99 coordinated attacks that the assailant who was shot stated they were told about and passed that information over to the police?

If you were a highly motivated and ardent red shirt UDD militia man, part of the 7% making a statement of intent, is this what you'd do?

A red shirt human rights activist!

That's an oxymoron.

So is a boilermaker !

Come on Fatty, it was just a statement. It got the desired result and hopefully the morons who co-ordinated it / funded it will go down.

Another example of how red history is rewritten.

They did not accuse the reds they simply told the truth (look the word up sometime) they said the phone number of a general was on the phone of one of the grenade throwers. The truth.

He came out and identified himself as a red supporter and denied involvement,

They said they found neck scarves of the army Issan Rambo had been getting together. The truth . This identified with the reds, Rambo then came out and said it had nothing to do with him.

Jutaporn denied the reds had no part in this, once again bringing a red connection into the picture.

There has been no suggestion from the police that I have seen that the lady who is the most recent arrest is connected with the reds.

The police now say they are getting closer to those who arranged all this, why should they name them before arrests are made ?

So the red shirts are back. There was kind of silence about the red shirts for some time now.
Thanks to the General.
Recently I read
"Without the red shirts*, probably, he would not have come to power because people were afraid of the red shirts*. They were rowdies and street fighters, they broke up demonstrations and they protected their own big meetings."
(*Ok, they did not say "red shirts" in that text, they said "SA" which is the name for Hitler's army of bullies, and the subject was Hitler's strategy to come to power, so please replace "red shirts" with SA)

And that is how the authorities are working now days. It is also good they have identified the women called dear. It is very refreshing and reassuring for the majority that these terrorists are being held to account. Such a far cry from pre May 22nd when 25 odd unarmed innocent people with their most dangerous weapon being a whistle were killed and over 600 injured by the red shirts and not one suspect arrested let alone an arrest.

Lets hope this is the dawning of a new age for justice in Thailand.

Some will hate the progress that is made. Hate it because it shows the Junta in a good light. They will denounce it, ignore it or they will use my favorite excuse "blame the flooding" for it! Some even said the investigation is going no where or hollow because they didn't identify "Dear". Now they have the excuses will evolve.

Well done for some swift action. It does not take a brian surgeon to work out the reds are behind this. Court houses were never their favorite buildings because that is where they are held accountable when they run out of excuses.

Well said!

With all due respect scorecard. It is not well said.

It is logic.

They do use flooding as an excuse to dismiss the successes of the Junta.

It is a pity because the majority of Thai's revel in the successes of the Junta, But alas the UDD supporters only support the majority when it suits their agenda.

When it doesn't, excuses are made.

Flooding being one.

The little old ladies in the bus were attacked by Suthep and his terrorist gang, the popcorn man was a Suthep terrorist and those that threw grenades at police, kidnapped women, bashed bound and threw people into canals and called on people to kidnap government officials were Suthep terrorists.

If you stopped sucking on Prayuth's toes and salivating on his toe jam you might actually realise both sides are bad as each other and use the same actions. All this rubbish that Bangkokians could never do bad and it is only the dirty peasants is just plain silly.

No alternative suspects. Better change the subject. Not enough? Hmmm, sling a few insults, and add a strawman argument - that might do it.

Thanks for that image. chooka - I was just about to go downstairs and chase up some breakfast but I think I'll pass now ......

I am none the wiser now that they've identified 'dear' - does her name line up with anyone of importance in Thailand ? I dont know a lot about Thai names but is hyphenation common ? As plots go, this one seems to have been a bit of a fizzer but I guess that's easy to say when I wasnt at the courthouse in question. Bizarrely, when I went looking for an image of Ms Mit-arak on Google, one of the images returned was my avatar - most definitely not a Thai woman from Mukdahan. Not the first time that Google seems to have spidered Thaivisa on a given topic, but weird nonetheless.

Supaporn "Dear" Mit-arak, 49

Why did the grenade lobbers and shootists before the coup often miss, fcku up, and some even get caught (although released without charges of course)?

Do you have an insight into how Thai "logic" works? Or Thai planning, organizing and implementation?

Grenades have been tossed at empty courts before; and empty houses. Even tossed a few duds. All would seem to be to make the point of what might happen or what might be escalated. Possibly - but that's just my guess and of course I'm not the anti-terrorism expert like yourself.

I remember you saying you think out of the box, with an open mind (although when others do that you claim they're off topic). Perhaps this was a false flag op, or just a couple of crims pissed off with the courts in general; or just idiots. Or maybe, perhaps, just possibly it might be some mentally challenged Shin supporters.
