I've been on eBay and the cheapest there are 800bht delivered. Does antbody know where I could get cheaper tha that. Or a method of making it cheaper by buying stainless steel,which are half the price and changing the colour.. Or some cheap and cheerful solution for the problem. There are two exterior doors which I could buy the locks and put something simple od the interior doors. Latch locks or something. Any ideas............. First thing in my head is you need something "antique" or "japanned" I take it you know japanning is a general term for black laquering/enamelling. Other than what the usual big stores sell; I would try and pay a visit to Hafele. There is a big store here in Chiang Mai and i know from their website they do stock black antique door furniture.(though not sure if its a worldwide stock) I dont know any other ironmogery specialists by name; Incidently Hafele is not cheap and cheerful; its nearer to being the best of the best; and will cost you more than the cost of your door. The reason a few of us are mentioning hafele is because the big stores dont stock anything worth using or even looking at.
