Obiwan
I got one of those cute little cloned PnP ipcam observation camera's. Great, easy and cheap, but the saved videofiles can only be played with with an app of a windows client from the VStar website. I would like to share some video's with friends but then they will have to install that software. VLC does not play them. Youtube does not recognise it. Does anyone know about a software that can handle that H260 format and convert it to MP4?
MJCM
try to rename the file extension to mpeg and see if VLC then plays it.

SoiBiker
Try MPEG Streamclip. It converts most things to most other things, and it's free.

Obiwan
It says that VLC can play H260 format. http://www.file-extensions.org/h260-file-extension It read that also on that site but VLC won't play it. I found now that the KMplayer does even if you rename to mjpeg or mpeg. Thanks for all the answers it will take some time to try all as the KMplayer does not convert as far as i can see.
