Many years ago representatives from the Royal Australian Mint (RAM) and Note Printing Australia (NPA) came to the Royal Thai Mint (RTM) in an attempt to sell Thailand the then new technology of polymer banknotes. Regrettably, Thailand wasn't interested but the reps from RAM and NPA were not impressed with the RTMs level of security. Seems not much has changed.

I doubt anyone is remotely surprised that someone in the Royal Thai Mint has done this.

More will a time be surprised that no effective action will be taken.
