Thailand needs to be a high quality tourist destination first!! As a High roller Tourist there is far better places to go and be treated with respect, feel valued and relax than Thailand. IMO Thailand needs to: Legalize Weed Legalize Prostitution Relax All laws on Alcohol Aim for Mass Tourism Let the Hordes come for fast and free time . Thailand should do what it did best back in the 80-90's a cheap, sleazy and dirty place. There is NO WAY IN HELL Thailand will ever be considered a Top spot for a high roller.

How to you Register with the Mor Prom application? you need a 13 digit ID card and cannot input a passport number? -
Because it is.. They are desperate to make payments for Mia Nois BM's etc.. Imagen the graft you can do with this in a place like Thailand.. OH no I became unusually wealthy after a massive winning streak at the Total legal Casino defiantly not skimming off (Insert any Government project).. OH no I bought the collection of overpriced watches to celebrate a big win at the casino Mr Anti graft inspector... IF it is just for Foreigners can see a big spike in Dule passport wielding Thai Big wigs

Not true. I have been to 9 national parks in the last 28 days. Not one required a 72h PCR. They did require a vaccine certification. AND ofcourse over priced 2 tier prices for non Thais. Best price was Kaeng Krachan National Park good facilities, best staff and plenty of wild animals to see. Thais 30 Non Thais 80 Stay as long as you like.. Worst Hat Noppharat Thara (pepe island Krabi) Sneeky booth on a random island.. Non Thais 400/person (even though signs say 200 Thai. 40 one day access only.. Nothing to see no facilities. Best advice not get off the boat at the island and you will not have to pay.. you will not miss anything...

Thaiairways still owe me money from canceling my tickets in 2019. I will NEVER fly with the scummy company again even if I can get cheaper more direct flights I will gladly pay slightly more and fly a better service, class, comfort airline (Qantas, Singapore, Emirates, Qutar) Thaiairways is dead to me never again. Scumbags.

Prime example why Thailand is doomed. Morons and incompetence at every step at every level. Tourists will work out Thailand is not what it was 20 years ago and move on to choose a better cheaper more friendly option. -

Funny that NZ offers investment Visa with a PR attached. INVESTOR 2 CATEGORY VISA Investment of NZ$3,000,000 for 4 years Maximum age 66 English language requirement Minimum stay 438 days over 4 years Annual quota of 400 applicants I mentioned this to a very wealthy family once who were intrested in sending their kids to school overseas.. They flat out refused to believe that it as not a scam and that they could outright OWN property in NZ.. -

Wow... Who would have thought Thailand unable to manage a online application process. And making a complete ass of it then bragging how good they are and how Tourism is saved... You only need to try and use the 90 day report online to know how well thease muppets will manage it... -
Nearly 2,500 travellers enter Thailand on first day of full reopening
dutchweller replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Try that when you are litrally on a small island alone with 4 National Park guys demanding money and your only way off with your wife and child is a boat.. But yes I emailed official national park email it bounced back. I sent a message on the official FB got no response I will Email another when I can be bothered. But do you really think they give FK? The money flows up.. Even the boat operators said the new local national park boss bought a 20 million bhat house and 2 red plat BMW in the first 3 months he arrived on the job.. The only way to stop it is make people aware and avoid it.. -
Phuket busy with foreign tourists, Thai media reports
dutchweller replied to webfact's topic in Phuket News
Interesting.. BS We just left Phuket and honestly it was a virtual ghost town. Every place we stayed 4-5 star resorts were 50-75% discount. The one we are at as I write this is usually 8500/night we walked in and paid 2000/night.. We are 1 or 4 families in total in a resort with 400+ rooms. When we went to Blue Tree Phuket water park.. It was 300/person full access pass usually 800 . And you could litrally count the people on your fingers in the park. So to have an article spouting how its heaving with tourists I find hard to believe... 20211029_150625.mp4 20211103_164913.mp4 -
Nearly 2,500 travellers enter Thailand on first day of full reopening
dutchweller replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Wife, Son and I are on a road trip around Thailand. I hope for the people in the tourism industry things pick up. A lot are virtual ghost towns. Of note was Ao Nang, Phuket, Krabi, Ranong.. The most disappointing and annoying thing that has soured our Trip is the Dual pricing. Especially the National parks.. Latest one today was Ao Nang Sneeky National Park pay booth on a random island last stop on a day boat trip.. Everyone is encouraged to get off the boat ... Out pops a fee collection officer Thai fees is 40 bhat... no problem.. FARANG you pay 400.... <deleted> Thailand 10 x the local pricing... Even the Boat operators were <deleted> off.. the National Park tickets are normally 200 for Farang... This type of greed is what puts a sour taste in Tourists mouth. And is why when asked do I recommend Thailand I say No. Go somewhere else where you are appreciated and it's worth the money asked... People are sick of the scams, corruption and contempt Foriegn Tourists are treated with. It needs to change or Thailand is doomed Attached the official sign for pricing. And the 400 bhat ticket issued.- 98 replies
