How did you manage to lose a slip that Immigration staples into your passport?
I just did mine yesterday (Bkk) and they never stapled it in! Had to do it myself when I got home as I didn't realize until I was walking out.

Sweet, I'll have a think which way to play it, thanks for your time

Hi,
my "non O" based on marriage to a Thai is due to be extended for a year on the 25th April but I have to do a 90 days report on the 19th March.
Are they strict on the extension applications within the last 30 days or would they be a little lenient and accept it a week early to save the taxi ride twice in a week.
By the way it's Bangkok Immigration Office,
thanks for your valued assistance as usual ;O)

Hi,
Khaosan Rd has lots and although you maybe dubious of quality, I bought one 5+ yrs ago and it's been to the beach in the water many times as well as Laos for going down the river and also used as just a coupe of nights away holdall bag and still works like new except for not looking like new!

thats a sad news for Thailand , lets hope this government will act in a serious way . ( yeah I know I can dream on this) But knowing the country I already hear the comments ... There are no terrorism in Thailand , no money laundering , no prostitution , no corruption ( did I forget anything ?)
No fake goods!

Yep add another person to the list.
Happenend to me in Ramkhamheang, the amount was 7000 baht and had to wait one week while they "investigated", got the funds back but still a right pain in the arse.

I used to stay a a decent place on ram soi 22, 40 baht on motobike taxi from the condo opposite bigC ( they have a motorbike taxi stop right outside).
It was called yubphayong condo about 40 sqm with kitchen balcony, no fitness but decent size pool for 6000 a month.
Moved into a house after or would probably still be there, best place I have stayed for the money.
All the best!

My mate was well happy he got a life time membership from the Esplanade/Ratchada C.WOW about 18 months ago, he was supposed to renew every year for just 100 baht!
I thought it didn't sound a bad deal but he forgot to renew it this year so lost the membership, so pretty expensive for him, made me piss myself laughing though!
WOW WHAT A DONUT!
P.S. that cost him 20.000 for the life time membership.

My friend just come back from Vientienne with a single entry tourist visa as that's all he wanted as he's going back to the UK at Xmas, he already had 4 back 2 back double entries (all from Vientienne) and last time they gave him the dreaded red stamp too!
He had been worried about going back again for ages as he thought he was gonna get refused but gave it a go anyway and said if a no go he would fly back in to BKK to get the 30 days.
Anyway all worked out good for him, the women at the desk was not having none of it when she saw that stamp from last time and had long he's been here, he just blagged it and said he was going back home/UK for Xmas, he said it took a bit of time and persuading but she finally told him to go back at 3pm and she would have a word with her boss, he went back at 2.45 best not to be late and all that, it was the same women and ahe asked him for his passport and the 1000 baht for the single entry and was told to come back the next day as usual, he asked for a receipt but the bird just smiled and said "reb rooy lao" all sorted, so obviously that was a bit of backsheesh in someones pocket,.
He went back the next day got his P/P with the single entry but they did give him another red stamp but different to his last one. So he's well happy and with a bit of persistnce you could be lucky, be keep your cool and don;t lose your rag, and don't go on a Monday or Friday as busiest days.
All the best!

About 6 weeks ago we were driving late at night down a soi in Rama 2 when we saw a massive king cobra well over 6 foot, the only place I have seen them before was in a snake farm and never in the wild, it was side winding down the road towards us and raised its head as we got a few feet away from it, we tried to slow down but still hit it with a loud thud under the truck, it all happened so fast! we didn't stop as I've heard stories of them biting on to the vehicle when they get run over or wrapping around the axle and biting you when you get out and not being a snake lover wasn't intersted in hanging about and made sure I legged it out of the truck quick when we did get home, but I think it had be left behind when we hit it as the was no sign of the scaly fella.
I read an article about 2 years ago in a Bangkok newspaper saying they get washed down river in the rainy season and live of the rats in the drains, a local snake rescue/catcher said she averages 4-5 calls a day in Bangkok alone in the rainy season.

Why it's the same here in Chiang Rai. Everybody knows where to gamble illegally but the police don't come. When I lived at Klongsarn (Thonburi), I would see BIBS make their collection round in our Soi off Tha Din Daeng. Dirty BIBS. So who you gonna call?
Ghostbuuusters !!!

Yep,
Poor sucker's right, clean it.
The main reason for laptops breaking is over heating.
I bought 2 cans of compressed air from Pantip Plaza, took the laptop apart and give it a good blow out around the fan and inside, loads of sh#t came out!
I had never done this before since I bought it a few years ago!
Trust me mate, it runs like a dream now, quiet, cooler and faster, I give it the once over every 6 months now.

Haha,
Quality, yeah have to admit I was sucked in!
Well TIT and nothing suprises me!
-
Thanks buddy, yeah I will do, just to be safe, )
-
I reckon you go there in person on 25th and show yourself to the officer that you were there before your admitted stamp expired... You sometimes not sure who you talking to on phone, it may be the information lady telling you on phone "mai pen rai" but it is you who at the end of the day have to pay the price.
good luck!

Hi guys,I'm a British passport holder and have just applied for my first one year extension based on being married to a Thai National, all requirements have been met and it is now under consideration and I have to go back on the 26th April. But, my non O is due to expire on the 25th Arpil and I'm admitted to stay until the 25th April, so surely that is overstay?!? I would have thought they would have stamped the date to go back on the 24th or 25th April?!?Is this normal or has the immigration guy made a mistake?I Just want to double check as don't want any problems being the first one! Thanks for your time, Nick.

I purchased a can of compressed air for the first time last week in Pantip Plaza, took me 3 shops on the ground floor before I found one that stocked it,
the shop I got it from was to the left as you walk in behind KFC, they asked 300 baht got it for 230 baht.
Sorted my com out nicely, fan was making a dodgy noise before but since the clean out the noise has stopped and com seems cooler now also.
Well worth the time and money, wish I'd done it ages ago!

Hi mate,

not a skater myself, but plenty of skaters hang out in front of the indoor stadium (next to the night market) at Ramkhamheang everynight, on Ramkhamheang road, opposite soi 65,

They have some small ramps there, nothing special, but maybe they would know some better areas also.

If the guy always hangs out at "ooze bar" a small street bar on soi rambutree with the psytrance blasting out,
his name is Pappa and is well connected in the pystrance scene and has something to do with putting parties on I think, as he's always at them,
I've seen him @ Green spirit, Koh Phangnan, Koh Tao, kanchanburi.
He isn't a perv but yeah looks a bit dodgy, has an indian tattoo and a few more on his arms,.
I reckon he would know a bit about magic potions though!
