as for the screw in lamps -get a smear of grease even vasiline onto the thread even though it melts with the heat it still helps

Any of you experts want to fix one of the lights in my house in Phuket?.The glass melted & left the metal in the socket. Don't mind simple electrics in the UK but I don't do electrics in Thailand, not even for a lightbulb!!!

Ive downloaded the AoM from the British Embassy and they say that you can put the Parents down as referees.

On other sites its says you must not use family as referees!!

What is needed is special immigration status and house ownership rights.

I really doubt that anybody in the Thai government, including Mr. Big himself, is interested enough in the elite card scheme's success to amend the laws regarding foreign ownership of land/houses.
