I would love to find a quality bar that plays good quality music softly! I don't think it exists...... I hope somebody proves me wrong. By softly, I mean background music. Music that does not dominate the room. Music that is at a volume that encouragtes conversation. etc..... Oh its just hopeless...... It's always gong to be too loud for me!

They sometimes have them at Villa, recently saw them at Central Chidlom grocery store, Tops I guess.

There is a Lemon Farm scheduled ot open in a new complex next to Starbuck's on Lang Suan close to Chitlom BTS. I like their macrobiotic veggie plate that is genuinely Kushi macrobiotic.

They recently changed most of their signs from Whole Foods Market to Healthy Market.....

So sad to see such a failure of common decency and social order within a society such that this person gets away with these bad actions year after year......

Just call them up. They employ excellent English speakers in customer service. I'm not being sarcastic, I've arranged service etc. many times and generally found their call center excellent. You don't need to go to any True shop, they will do it all on the phone. People bitch and moan about them, but in general I would rather deal with True than with any telecommunications/cable company in America.

I used to leave my Honda Wave there three days a week while I worked in Bangkok. I would put a cover on it and put a chain on the back wheel which went up and over the seat so it was obviously locked. No problem in 18 months. Very convenient to get to the airport and back.

I posted this months ago.... I should have added how often these programs screw up in small and large ways.

I'm continuously amused by CMU Language Center's various courses. It's pretty obvious to me that its run as a for profit business using CMU as a marketing tool. Every university in Thailand that can sets up these kinds of internation programs/de[artments etc. becasue that's how the Thai's get power and money and the Farang get a piece of the pie too.......

Americans call them Rice Cakes and they sell them in every Farang ori\ented supermarkets and have for years.

Some people say Bumrangrad Lasik clinic is hopeless, Some people say it's a Lasik mill focused on money not patient care. Maybe that' s not true. I had it done there 4 years ago and immediately went to TSRC for all after care . I also suffered severe dry eye side effects and nobody who hadn't had the problem can understand how uncomfortable it is.

Go see Dr. Chansue at TSRC Lasik Center. He acted as a doctor should to help me with my problem.

USA passport page additions are for free. Two such additions can be made (both free) but after that must get new passport.

Sort of.... There are no health food stores like in the West, but there are a few oriented to the Thai market and you can find stuff that claims to be organic.

Uncommon grains, processed health foods etc. can usually be found at the foreign oriented supermarkets, but its never for sure and you never know if it will be reordered. In general though, you will be OK.

I wonder how many Americans apply for visas there each day and what percentage of those Americans have pages left, but not enough proper pages such that they immediatly head over to the US embassy. Twenty per day? Hmmm....

Still, I agree it would be nice if they made it more convenient. Maybe when they start charging 80 dollars or whatever it is they will do it in the morning!

I used to recommend my dentist by name and hospital because of her honesty, integrity, and skill. I gave up doing that because, for reasons I can' t quite grasp, people prefer references to clinics and hospitals and don't seem to really care about a specific dentist. It's a mystery.
