  1. Seems that way but we aren't all like that. Hic
  2. Try finding it on Google Maps and look at the reviews the most recent of which seems to be 2 months ago so it looks like it probably is still open but it also gives a phone number so I'd give it a call to be sure. Cheers 🍺
  3. Hope she is soon found fit and well. People seem to do some strange things when on holiday e.g. wander off alone into the jungle whereas nowadays at home they wouldn't dream of going to the local park or woodland alone for a stroll.
  4. Can you apply for a DTV within Thailand rather than outside? Have a re-entry permit already which I normally extend by 12 months each year but as the DTV is for 5 years it might at least save one hassle annually but need to read the T&Cs first.
  5. You haven't seen anything until you drive on roads in the UK. After years of neglect most UK towns have thousands of pot-holes wherever you drive, so you see cars zig-zagging like crazy to avoid them. I'll never complain about Thai roads which by and large are far superior.
  6. I don't usually get involved in 'conspiracy theories' but if you type in 'crowdstrike share price' into Google and look at the 6month view you will see the share price began to dive on 13th July a full six days BEFORE the IT crash yesterday 19th July. I don't think sabotage can be ruled out here as some disgruntled employee about to see his/her shares halved in value might have sought revenge.
  7. If I was a criminal I'd rather be chased down the street by the third policeman from the right.
  8. Oh gawd. Another thing to worry about but should not 'in theory' affect me as don't use mobile banking apps but I do use online internet banking via my PC & Laptop and the mobile is just used to receive OTP passwords which I 'assume' are unaffected? Would be grateful if someone can advise me if they are they are impacted in this respect. Cheers.
  9. I'd recommend them too as they fitted a new radio and reversing cam for me. Very quick and professional.
  10. Stupid of him to mis-use a legitimate (almost) review mechanism to seek vengeance for a disagreement he had with the owner over an unrelated matter. There must be an easier way to resolve a grievance such as this. Anyway he's found out the hard way the error of his ways.

    Cheese

Agreed. I buy the same Australian cheddar as it's the only one I've found that has come close to the extra strong English cheddar I buy in the UK.
  12. Also surprised that no-one has mentioned (or I think not) that the 'so called' flagship UK airline British Airways has not flown to Thailand since the pandemic and will not do so again until October 2024 when it will only fly here three times a week from London Gatwick which is better than nothing I guess but is hardly a vote of confidence in Thailand or the economic recovery in Europe. Luckily I haven't flown BA for years as it is rubbish i.e. old planes, old staff, poor service, dire food so it's been EVA or Emirates usually for me.
  13. A simple bullet in the head would suffice.
