Please tell me if they can catch a shoplifting Aussie, surely they can catch that scumbag that killed several people; including a 2-year old, in that “botched” gold robbery??

Love the comments about the “illegal” fireworks. They’re illegal here in the States too, but due to some loophole regarding their use as a deterrent for animals — it is perfectly fine to set them off, willy-nilly.

I was told that after posting so much negativity I should just leave the country.
So I did, and settled down in Florida.
Now I bitch and complain about Floridians.
Huh.

So, a lady boy stabs a Norwegian and gets thrown in jail, but then a bunch of drunk Thais beat up an elderly English couple and get away with it?
Ok. Nothing to see here!

Legally it’s the motorcyclists fault. Morally, the pickup driver should have done a shoulder check. The pickup driver probably did a side-mirror check but as the cyclist was in his blind spot at that crucial moment, he wouldn’t have seen anything. In this case it might have been prudent for the pickup to use his blinkers, which might have led to the cyclist slowing down. But that’s a big MIGHT HAVE. Ultimately it’s the cyclist at fault. Don’t drive like an idiot.

They removed most of these machines here in the States because of how inaccurate they were. They were giving banks a bad rap — which is why now you will only find them in strip malls. What a joy to see them in Thai banks. Well, for now at least. But who would care if a couple baht went missing from the count? From the stories already posted here they’d be much better than hand-counting Thais!

People here think all cyclists are loons that barrel down the sidewalks. I get it. But sidewalks are for both cyclists and pedestrians. Or cyclists are treated as both vehicles and pedestrians — I ride my bike on sidewalks in Virginia despite the generous bike lanes. You’re right about Florida’s “bike lanes” they are a joke that will abruptly come to an end in the middle of a road and it’s just so stupid — but worse — Florida’s sidewalks are equally as bad. Which sadly, is why I can’t bike to work anymore.

Why NOT arm the rest of the world? Trump just said we will pour more into our military and cut spending on those stupid silly schools, healthcare and science. Silly leftists. You are all in the way of making our Proud Nation Greater Than China. Who cares about a little smoke that causes people to choke and have shortened life spans? They’re silly farmers and blue collar workers! They’ll vote all the same! And if we take away education and science it’ll be even EASIER for these nitwits to keep us in power! Look at all the dictatorships! They’ve got it good!

The headline is misleading, they were smiling when greeting their lawyers. Surely a natural thing to do even if you are a psycho.
Actually a more natural thing for a psycho to do

E-cigs never were that dangerous.
They can cause rises in blood pressure.
They may irritate the respiratory tract.
Perfectly safe... until one blows up in your face ?

Lollll!!! Big Tabbaco has its hands down the bums of big politicians. That is the only explanation. Someone is making money one way or the other.
Stone Age? Hell, the country was more free during the Stone Age!

Do I detect a certain amount of paranoia here!
I've been using these services, both here in the rice paddies and Bangkok, for 15 years now. For 200 Baht I don't get my hands dirty, get a great job done and help the locals make a living. Dirty rugs --- seriously!!!!!
Exactly. I have seen shittier and shoddier service here in the US. In fact almost all service here is worse.

The guy has much bigger problems in life. So the guy is a douche and made very poor remarks against the people who give him sustenance -- he obviously hates his own existence. I find the hatred against this poor bastard a little concerning. How is this person "scamming" people? By begging for money and spending it all? Did y'all see his leg? He majorly f---d up. I've met many "disabled" people who have terrible attitudes toward life and other people (most people who walk the floors of Walmart)... can you blame them? I dunno. Sad state of affairs. In any case, karma is catching up quick for this poor soul. How his "scamming" is any different from the traffickers who cut off people's limbs and place them in the streets as beggars -- I mean... there are worse problems in life to worry about.

Block it!! Block iiiiiiiiit! THEN you'll realize just how difficult it is to control a pissed off population! Lolll.

I sense there's going to be a sequel to this. The father will not rest until justice is served, and I trust he will make it slow and painful.

Looks like a statistic that needs to be put to the test! XD
Gotta admit, this is good, shameless marketing. Steer up some steam and watch those numbers roll in. They knew what they were doing all along!
Shame on Durex for saying that 28% of women give in. They know that number is higher.

Thais are starting to understand what their education system is designed for. There may be hope for this country yet.

This is absolute f__ing B__S__t. The "movie" in question is such cr@p that it can't even be called as such. It was just made by some f__ing racist loser who's mad at Islam/Muslim, and not all the Muslims are up in arms AGAINST AMERICA for this B___ S___t???
Well I'll be GOD D____NED. Looks like this loser of a producer actually uncovered the UGLY TRUTH AFTERALL, though I'd like to think otherwise. To think so many would hurt innocent people just because of this tripe???

I don't usually keep track of bail rates, but that sure sounds a lot more than what most (or every) scumbag MP gets.

Regardless how much you liked the soi 10 bar scene, Chuwit's razing was justified as the bar owners were just greedy squatters whose lease had expired and refused to leave on land that was being sold. The razing was perhaps the most rational solution to solve a chaotic problem handled in the Thai way which has been repeated over and over elsewhere in Thailand. Immediately after the incident, Thaksin condemned the razing and vowed to find and prosecute those involved. The supreme court ruling should be interesting.
We've had nothing but problems with squatters in the past. Since my old man passed away we started setting things "right". Though the law is on our side, the police almost always aren't, and there's ALWAYS a lot of bribing to do before the situation can be cleared up.
If you don't own the land, you don't have a right to set up shop. If you don't comply, then the bulldozers are there to show you the door.

I have acquaintances in the Royal Thai Army that have advised me to brace for it.
My in-laws (red shirts) refuse to believe me. Ah well. Their house, not mine...

Wouldn't it just be easier to staff all the counters to reduce the waiting time?

Six senses! !!!!
Sent from my LT22i using Thaivisa Connect App
When you consider adjectives, there are indeed six senses:
TASTE - spicy, salty, sweet
SMELL - stinky, putrid, fragrant
TOUCH - rough, soft, squishy
HEARING - loud, booming, silent
SIGHT - red, round, big
THOUGHT - f__ked up, arrogant, mindless
So yes, there are indeed six senses. The sixth sense allows us to describe things based on our thought/opinion. Wouldn't you agree?

If that robber was shoplifting electronics and was Australian he’d have been caught in a heartbeat!
