Are you saying you're working at an University with an ED visa and a work permit?

The visa for working is NON B.

ED visa is when you're studying something, not working.

Exactly what I'm saying.  I'm assuming it has been allowed as I am working at an educational institute.

The 1st 10+ years, Chiang Mai was not authorized to approve extensions based on work and was sent to Bangkok and I would get a 30 day waiting approval stamp.  Then when Chiang Mai immigration was authorized I received extensions for the next 20 years from them.  So both Bangkok and Chiang Mai immigration considered it valid.

  2. I've been working at a university in Chiang Mai for 30 years.  I have been getting an extension of permission of stay based on working at a university and work permit renewal annually for this period.  My entry into Thailand was on a non-ED when I was offered a position at the university.  Just renewed my passport for the 3rd time and all 4 are stamped (transfer stamps to 3 of them) with Non-ED.

Now, can I convert the Non-ED based on working at a university to a Non-O based on retirement in country?

It was a guy making rockets - it was not a "fireworks factory."

From Thairath translated to English. "From the preliminary investigation, it is known that The factory has been making fireworks and firecrackers for a long time. And during this time, there are a lot of orders for fireworks and fireworks. "

"The scene of the incident was found to be a fireworks and firecracker making factory "

    How to see my cost/unit?

Assuming you get a bill direct from the government and not the inflated prices found in condos.

Example bill:  Take the total cost 2392.93 (base + FT +VAT) and divide by number of units used, 563 in this example.

Did the Chinese Nazi party sponsor the funeral?

You are probably already aware of the symbol in reference to Buddhism.  However, just in case.

"The word “swastika” has Sanskrit roots and means “the mark of well being.” It has been used in prayers of the Rig Veda, the oldest of Hindu scriptures. In Buddhism, the symbol is known as “manji” and signifies the Buddha's footsteps. It is used to mark the location of Buddhist temples."

  6. May not be Chiang Mai specific so if need to be moved to general Visa not a problem. ????

Went to immigration to do my annual extension based on work at Chiang Mai University. It was refused as the university generated document for immigration shows Non-Immigration "B". I entered Thailand 30 years ago on a Non-ED and have extended every year based on that with never an issue or questioned it.

CMU has fully automated the documents for immigration as they have an MOU with them. Appears there is no option to change that one item from NonB to ED. The forms are filled automatically and the only form for Non-ED is for students only. Appears last year it did show Non-B but was missed, not this time though.

Since my extension expires at the end of this month it has put me in a bind. I have renewed my WP for 1 year with no problem.
Appears I have to have a non-b. Converting from Non-Imm to another type is not allowed.
After some research seems these are my options.

Convert my reason for stay from work to retirement. Appears that conversion won't work with a Non-ED.

Do a border bounce and get a visa exempt and convert to a Non-B or Non-O in country. The two available options on that is working for a company or limited partnership. Or for working as a teacher.
Documentation required for either appears to be complicated.

My university contract is Oct 1 to Sept 24 next year. Not sure if I leave the country prior to expiration Sept 30 this year if immigration needs to be notified. I may need an agent to guide me through this. ????

Also check the meter to see if it is spining when nothing is being used.

This.  Had a 9,000 Baht water bill where normally it is less than 100.  Checked every point in the house for any water running and nothing.  I could hear the meter spinning from outside the house and looked at the meter and spinning like crazy.

Was a broken line underground to the house.
