  1. My trust would be based on someone wanting regular stream of income(Laundry and cleaning my room once a month), rather than stealing an over sized farangs clothes that wouldn't fit most thai people. :)

Guess i will have to keep using the ones on jetyod rd for now.

  2. Where is the closest place to Condotel to get laundry done? So far i have been using a place on Jet Yod Rd. And maybe If anyone knows of someone that would pick up laundry from your home and drop it back that would also be good.

  3. I'm doing my visa run the 31st, was going to book my ticket early after reading advice in other threads, went to the bus station and queued up today, the queue was long and barely moved in 15mins, so i left.

Is there a time of day when the bus station is quieter?

Also how necessary to buy my ticket in advance?

  4. OP, I'm not sure of your gender, but FYI I found out when I asked to join that the Farangutans team is open to all farang MEN. If you are not of that variety, then you can go to the CMU fields every Sunday around 5 p.m., where there is a large group of expat players.

Forgot about this till now, i am male, do you have a contact for the Farangutans team?

  5. There used to be or may even still be a team called the Farangatangs, I think you could find information at the UN Irish pub about them. Not sure if they are still playing though. If your interested in watching the Thai league, Chiang Mai are at home in the big match of the weekend on sunday at the 700 year stadium.

I'll look into it, will definitely try catch a Thai league game at some stage, what does the standard compare to in England say?

  6. I have friends coming in a couple of weeks time, and they are staying in a hotel that doesn't have a swimming pool, and i know they will want a to just chill out by the pool for a day or 2.

What are the best outdoor pools in chiang mai(incl condos and hotels) available to the public?

  7. Just enter another country/get stamp and return. But your visa has to be valid. Check the use by/before date on the visa itself to make sure you return for second entry before that date.

I hope its this easy, when i asked in travel agent i was told i could only get extended for 15 days at burma, and 90 days in vientienne Laos and would have to stay in laos a couple of days and pay $35 for visa. But since i have a double entry tourist visa i can just go anywhere and come back for my 2nd entry, another 60+30, is this right?

  8. I entered thailand with a double entry tourist visa, which gave me 60 days + 30 dayextension, from my understanding when i do my visa run with this type of visa i get another 60 days + 30 days extension. Am i correct? Do i have to fly somewhere and stay overnight, or can i just do a 1 day in and out visa run on land? What kind of fees for this, the extension was 1900baht. Also where would be the easiest place to do a visa run from chiang mai?

Sorry for the noob q's. :)
