  1. Hello, I'm looking for some advice on what to do ? I eventually got a Retirement Visa on 22 December at Chaengwattana Government Complex with help of an agent. Then I went to Pattaya for a week aftwards to meet up with my brother. I still haven't registered for a TM3O yet for my current address in Surin / slipped my mind. My wife will be doing it next week. Am I subjected to a fine now ? (2K bhat) - (For the TM30 or the TM47). Regarding the TM47 / 90 days reporting in MARCH, do I have take my passport, blue book of address and marriage certificate / I don't have a rent book. My mate mentioned 7 days, what's that ? He also stated that you go to Immigration in person 1st time and report online afterwards. I arrived in Thailand on 11 July and done a TM30 in October when I stayed at a hotel / applying for an extension - that's obsolete now. Thank you in advance.
  2. Agree with you there mate, my history is kinda RISKY under the circumstances. I'm with Bangkok Bank. This could let down, as I'm relying on my brother to send me the funds over to cover the RV. I hope he comes through - I'm meeting him in Patts 2 weeks time. 🤞 👍
  3. Yes, Bangkok Bank. I've heard you got to have a rental agreement as well. TVC will sort one out for a fee, I hope.
  4. Do you know of any agents as I hoping to get a RV very soon. Thanks
  5. Hello all, I've been here since 11th July - (60, 30, 60 and 30). I'm on my 2nd VE - just went to Immigration and they gave me an extension of 30 days to 2nd January. I'm hoping to get a RETIREMENT VISA with TV Centre next week, if that fails I'll consider in applying for a Tourist Visa at Vientiane. Does anyone know of the website as I'm new to this and how long will it take ? I've heard all borders are close now. Will that be OK under the new rules as I'll have been here for 175 days on 2nd January. (RED FLAG plus 2 consecutive VEs) But new year / history reset ? OR I might go back to the UK and return around May time & apply for a RV later. Thank you in advance I'vbhbvgggerfft3eerrrrfff been here since July 11th (60, 30, 60 & 30) - I'm on my 2nd VISA - EXEMPTION now - , 30, 60 & 30) - I'm on my 2nd VISA - EXEMPTION now - extension (30 days) to 2nd January 2026. I'm hoping to get a RETIREMENT VISA with Thai Visa Centre next week - if that fails. I was hoping to go to Vientiane (Embassy) to apply for a tourist visa / book an appointment / evisa. (Does anyone know of the site to apply as I'm new to this) Will that be OK under the new rules, think not as I'll have been here for 175 days (red flag) on 2nd Jan. New year / history reset ??? I might go back to the UK and return in around May on a VE and apply for a RV later on. Thank you in advance.
  6. Hello, I do apologize for this long post. Just arrived in LOA today after only 1 Visa-Exemption and a extension. Problem is, coming over the border - Thai immigration took me to one side and stated how long I'm in Loa for - I replied 2 days but I'm hoping to go back tomorrow. Then he mentioned that I need to go to the Embassy and apply for a Evisa / that's the new policy. What's the Evisa, what does it involved ? My wife is in Nong Khai now, expecting me back in Thailand in the morning. I even bought an onward ticket for the Visa-Exemption, I've only got 10K in bhat / funds but got a bank statement to cover the other 10. In the past, we used a travel agent to cross the border (2023) - sailed through immigration - even though I overstayed and we came back on the same day / never stayed overnight. I've just been on the phone to my wife, unfortunately she doesn't have contact number for the travel agent now. Does anyone know any local agents ?????? Regarding extensions, I've already had 30 days but could I had another EX for my wife / family for 60 days on top. 60 + 30 + 60. Any advice, would you risk going to the border tomorrow? I'll be getting a Retirement Visa next, don't want to go through this again 😂 😂 Thank you in advance 👍
  7. All sorted now - TM30 & extension. Hotel manager submitted the TM30 yesterday morning and then I went to the Immigration later. Af first, officer stated that the manager should attend in person. I pointed that manager already submitted the TM30 earlier in a line conservation. I saw a couple waiting, seen them at a waterpark a few times. Sat beside them - mentioned my predicament. He was on a student visa I think - was applying for an extension as well. I mentioned the TM30 to them but to my surprise the couple never heard anything about the TM30. Told him that he needed to get the TM30 form to get any visas and extensions. He picked up his pp and left. Officer called me over, mentioned that the Manager has already filed the form, which I already knew. She gave me 34 days extension, the expiry date was 7th Sept (visa exemption)- extra 4 days. Handed my photo copies, etc including a hotel receipt of my current stay. Officer said how long will I be staying at the hotel, I replied 4 weeks - I hope she doesn't check as I'll be at my wifes EX. I was at Immigration for an hour approx. The EX even offered to take me to Immigration on Monday to submit the TM30 but I refused as I'll probably get fined. I hope to take up on his offer next time. Thank you for all of the replies 🙏
  8. Hello mate. I've just arrived at the hotel (for 2 nights) and then I'll be going to Immigration on Friday to apply for the extension. I've mentioned the TM30 to the receptionist, asked if she'll send it straightaway to Immigration / on the system - she took a photo of my passpost. I'll plead ignorance to the IO on Friday if he asks me when I arrived in Thailand. Thank you once again
  9. Hi mate, I haven't filed a TM30 yet, I returned to Thailand last month - been in the UK for the past 2 years. Didn't know about the form TM30 until I read the replies yesterday. Been researching thoroughly numerous times on the forum. I'll ask my wife tonight regarding the TM30 @ her property. I'll sort the extension at a later date. Am I subjected to a fine now as you meant to file a TM30 within 24 hours of your arrival, I've been here since last month. Thank you.
  10. Hello, I'm looking for some advice what I need to do. This has probably been asked numerous times before, I do apologize. I arrived in Thailand on 11th July on a 60 day visa exemption via Vientiane, loa. Moved back here from the UK. My query is that I put the address in Surin on the DTAC form - I'll be applying for the 30 day extension next month, which immigration office do I report to ? (probably straightforward) The reason I asked for as in the past I've been reporting to Saraburi IO - my wife has property in Saraburi. When I apply for my 2nd visa exemption in October at Vientiane, can I put the address in Saraburi on the DTAC form ? Does immigration do background checks at the border ? Will they make enquiries regarding changing addresses ? My anxiety is kicking in / I'm over thinking as always. I'm currently residing in Surin at my wife's EXs, he has got a massive farm. It's convenient to everyone as he mostly reside at Lopburi / comes back whenever / work. The problem is that he doesn't want his name on any forms at Immigration / official - That's why I reported to Saraburi IO (2015 - 2023). Thank you in advance, I apologize for the long post.
  11. Hi mate, my pal has done the same trip twice now, he flew though Bahrain and China - I also looked at my tickets, I don't need a visa in Bahrain BUT only in China (self transfer). My pal said the same only China & you get a free visa for 14 days. I've got 5hours there / ample time. Regarding the tickets, I was originally purchasing them for £542 but the price suddenly changed to £687. I was canny cheesed off, I wasn't fast enough. I was going to buy them months ago but the wife was keep changing the dates. Nowt is going right for me at the moment as I've been homeless for the past 4 weeks now / long story. I'll be buying a onward ticket for the visa exempt when I cross the border from Vientiane. Cheers.
  12. I'm only here to observe the Trumpard scummy cult members being Jack asses. Very stupid, blinkered 🤡 🤡🤡 - I rest my case.
  13. Hi mate, I'm flying through BAHRAIN and China on the 9th, Visa on Arrivals are the only option now. I've only got 3 hours to do everything- I hope all is on time as you said 😂 no delays. (5 hrs in China) Regarding Thailand, I'm a British PP holder, UK Citizen. I've lived in Thailand for 12 years until to 2023. I'm returning now. I'll be eligible for 60 days Visa Exemption with an onward ticket / equivalent of 10K bhat. I'm going to buy a ticket from a site. I'm flying to Vientiane, Loa - meeting my wife there. Can I cross the border straightaway / VE instead going to the Embassy for a VISA and stay the night. I need to a DTAC 3 days prior entering Thailand regardless / old TM6. Future reference, when will I mention my address as I'll be staying in Surin for a night, then in Bangkok. Thank you in advance, I do apologize for the numerous questions
  14. Hello mate, Thank you for reply, I wasn't clear in my original post - I put another post on the forum last night. The problem is that I'm travelling Bahrain and China on SELF TRANSFER - both airports (rechecking my luggage / go through IMM). I'm flying to Vientiane, crossing the border to Thailand. I got denied at Survanabhumi Airport in 2023 / long story. I'm far to late to do the EVisa now, my only option is Visa on arrival - passport 6 months valid, onward flight, Funds and accommodation. I don't have any accommodation, will Cash be OK for funds? It's going to tight at Bahrain, I'm only there for 3 hours, from 8pm - my flight leaves at 11pm. First time I've flown for 2 years and First time for self transfer. I'm feeling ever so anxious. Any advice ? Thank you in advance.

  18. From the UK mate. When I saw visa mentioned on the site, after I purchased the ticket this morning, I just panicked. Off topic, I was purchasing the ticket for £542 but it changed to £679 with Gulf Air. I wasn't quick enough 😂 😡
