I agree with the Smoking Ban, and I think it is good for Thailand as a Whole, but I do not agree with the efforts to Ban Alcohol, because even though there are many people who abuse alcohol or make a nusance of themselves because of alcohol or cause family problems because of alcohol, there are also many people who can enjoy one or two drinks to relax or enjoy a with a meal. I do not think they should pursue the Anti-Alcohol, as much as they did the Anti-smoking. But I do understand what they are trying to do, and why they are doing it. I just think Freedom is greater than oppression, I think it is not right to punish everyone for the faults of a few as far as the anti-alcohol rulings. I don't think they should start trying to close down Bars and take away people's happiness just because some people are out of control. I don't think all the Bars are sources of Evil, I think the bars are where many go to enjoy themselves and find happiness where they may not be able to find otherwise. I think the people of Thailand need to think about the Laws they pass before they wind up creating a Land of Oppression instead of the "Land of the Free".

I think it is a Good thing for Cultures to intermix, and interbreed, and Social Interaction is a good thing as well. However in this study, it shows a lot of Negative things, that maybe someone in the Local Government can address.

1. The Lack of Interest in Thai Cultural Events is a very bad thing, because if this trend continues everything that is know as "Thai" will die out and be forgotten. I believe that Thai Culture is one of the most Beautiful Cultures in the World. These are the things that got the attention of the Foriegners to begin with. Yes Thai Women are some of the Most Beautiful Women in the World, but I feel it is a great form of disrespect for Foriegn Husbands to lead the families away from Thai Culture as if to imply that the Foriegn Husband's Culture is some how Better and Over Rules the Thai Culture in some way. This is wrong, because if the Foriegn Husband's Culture was better, then he would never have left his Homeland to come to Thailand. I believe it is every Foreign Husband's DUTY to embrace and cherish Thai Culture as a way of Reciprocating all the Love that Thailand has provided the Foriegn Husband's with.

2. I like the Idea of Mixing Foods and Cultures, but I don't like the idea of eliminating One for the Other. That feels like there is something wrong there, that is much deeper than the Surface Values.

If the Foriegn Husbands actually LOVE Thai people, then why do they insist on ignoring or refusing to accept Eating Thai Foods, Celebrating Thai Holidays, and forcing THEIR Beliefs onto the Thai people around them, and making the Thai people change to that which is NOT Thai? Is this how they Show their Love for the Thai people?

3. In the Study it mentions that the primary Concern of the Thai Women who Married Foriegn Husbands, was Financial Security more than anything else. This is common with many Women not just Thai Women, but it seems funny that so manyWomen use MONEY as the Prime Value in deciding a Relationship. Isn't a Relationship suppose to be based on LOVE?

4. The Study claims that the Thai Women are growing more Individualistic, and Independant rather than operating within the Community. This is the greatest common evil I see with Any Democracy that interact with Foriegn influence such as British or the Americans. People begin to follow a Trend of Cutting themselves off from Society, becoming more and more Detached from the people around them. And I am not talking about the behavior of the Foriegn Husbands now, I am talking about Individuals who adopt Western Style Culture. Anyone who Adopts Western Culture Tends to adopt a Colder outlook to those around them. More Isolated and Distant, not Warm and Friendly as Thai Culture is. Western people don't usually Smile at each other when they Pass on the Street, Western people are more Distant and Cold Hearted. If the Thai People Adopt more Western Styles of living, Thailand will no longer be the Land of Smiles. But the people who adopt Western Culture will tend to display more Hatred and Contempt for those around them, simply because most Foriegners are Christians, and Christians base their Teachings of Life on Hating Everyone who is NOT Christian. They use terms such as "Sin" and "evil" to Justify their Hatred of others, and their Philosophy of life is to Live in Misery and hold Contemptious Attitudes towards others, they live in Misery waiting to Die to go to Heaven where they believe all their Dreams will come true. This is the Path of the Thai people who follow the Western Ways. Buddhism bases its teaching on Compassion and Understanding, which is why most Thai Customs and Traditions are more Warm and Compassionate, such as Smiling at someone when you pass them on the Street. Christians are not like this. Christians believe in Holy Wars, and Killing everyone who is not Christians. Christians believe in keeping Slaves, Degrading Women, and Promoting Hatred and Contempt. They are not nice people, they never were. Look throughout History, and you will see the effects of Christians in almost every Country in the World, they Kill and Manipulate the people to try to FORCE them to believe the way they do. This is the way of the Christian. Beware.

In Summary, I think that it is a Sad thing that these Foriegn Husbands are committing such a Grave Wrong to disrespect the Thai Culture in such ways. I do not think that Thai people should discourage Thai people from marrying Foriegners, I believe that Mix Marriages provide both Cultures with many benefits, but I think it is up to the Thai people to Teach the Foriegners their Responsibity to maintaining the Thai Culture especially if they want to live in Thailand. Otherwise everything that is known as "Thai" will be forgotten, and it will die out, and the Thai people will all live in Misery as they Do in every major City in the entire Western World, and Thai Culture will adopt the Same style thinking, as Western Cultures so they will also have the Same Style Problems as well. Foriegners come to Thailand because it is Unique, it is Special, it is Different, and it is Beautiful. If you take all that away, and make Thailand just like every place else in the World, then it will not only hurt the people of Thailand, it will hurt Tourism, it will hurt the Honor of all the Thai people throughout time, and disrespect all Thai Ancestors, and Curse the land with a Great evil like Thailand has never known before. Why do you think there are so many Chrisitan Colleges in Thailand now? Because they "just want to teach?" Yeah right. Like they did to every other Country in the World right?

Hi, my name is SUA, I was born in the US, but through the years, I have grown more and more fond of Thai Women. I'll give you a quick Example of a Famous Model in Thailand everyone knew as Farong, because she was Half White and Half Thai. In Thailand she was Famous, in the US she was nothing. Eventually she became so depressed with her life in the US she Committed Suicide. Most of the people here in the US do not recognize the Skills and Abilities of a Thai person. So many Thai people are stuck with meaningless Jobs once they come to the US. In rare cases it is different. My Point is if you come to the US chasing the Money, many times all you will find is Misery. Tata Young is half Thai and half American, she Produced some of her Music in California thinking that would help her get American Radio Airplay. In Thailand Tata Young is Famous, in the US she is nothing. She recieved hardly NO American Airplay.

I want to Live in Thailand and Become a Thai Citizen, because I believe in the principals that Thailand was founded on. I Believe in the Buddhist Concepts, I Believe in Compassion and Understanding.

I Love Thai Women because the Thai Girls I have had in my Life so far, were very Warm, and Understanding, and I really like those Qualities in a Woman. I Like Thai Food, Thai Women, Thai Music, Mameaw is my Favorite Thai Artist, Napakaprapa Nakprasit (Mamee) is my Dreamgirl, I would do anything for her. I feel like the US is not really my Home. They say that Home is where the Heart is, and as much as I have thought about Thailand, I think that Thailand is my Home, I have been to Thailand twice, and I really Loved every second I was there, and I never wanted to leave. Things you might take for granted there I cherish, such as the Lady who cooks the Barbecue Chicken on the Street, or the people who make Luk Chub, and the Rice cake Deserts in the Talat, Shopping a Panthip Plaza, and those VIP Movies Theathers in Bangkok were SO Cool. These are the things you will never see in the US. Even Simple things like Ja Du ja, Pra Tu Nam, And the Sky Trains and Sub ways, most cities in the US do not have places like those. We have "Flea Markets" that Look like Ja du ja, but everything is Used Junk in the US, not New.

The Pineapple on a Stick, the Snacks prepared on the Streets, all of that is illegal here in the US, because they have so many rules and regulations that none of that is allowed in the US. The US there is no more Freedom because of Republicans like Bush that make up too many Rules and destroy Freedom so the Rich can Control everything, then they make all the money, and the poor only get more poor.

These are the reasons I want to live in Thailand. I Love Thailand for it's Freedom, I Love riding in Jeeps, and Tuk Tuks, and having the Freedom to do it. In the US you can not ride in things like that. Everything is illegal in the US. There is no more Freedom here. And only the Republicans have money.

The bottom line here is, if this is all it takes to break up a Relationship, can you REALLY call it "Love" in the first place? Understanding Human nature is to understand that living with the SAME PERSON your whole life can get a little boring. Yeah?

I once had a Girlfriend who actually would bring Girls home to me for me to have, and she never got jealous about it afterwards. As a matter of fact many times after the Girl left, me and my girlfriend would go out to eat and dance and go movies and wind up having a very romantic evening together, because her Compassion for my needs, was much more erotic than the fling with the other Girl. I think this is a Good Idea, even though it might be far from Town, they might be doing this to inspire ecconomic growth in that area. Look at the areas around Pra tu nam, Ja Du Ja, on the weekends those places are PACKED! And the Tourists will go there no matter how far away it is.

And if the Market is all Shaded, it might prove to be nicer than all the other markets especially if it is either Airconditioned or it is breezy from the open Airfield next to it. It migth turn out to be a pretty nice place all things considered. Not to mention the fact that it could very easily evolve into an International Market Place being that vendors MIGHT be able to truck their goods next door and ship it out, or recieve goods easier because they are right next to the Airport.

I see this as a Postive development for Thailand, not something negative.

I think that it is good that the Police are concerned about unwanted harrassment, or Thefts, but I am worried that this is partly coming from a bunch of Hypercritical Homo-phobes, and Conservative Christian Republicans who want only Church going Christians to populate the Beach area and no one else. Christians have a tendency to try to Control and Dominate the areas they move into, and manipulate the Laws, and Law Enforcement, because all they have to do to use the Police as Puppets for the Christian Army is File a simple "Complaint" and many times these "Complaints" do not warrant any PROOF of a crime, they are simply a "Complaint". They only "proof" is the Statement or Complaint itself. And because these Christians and Goody Goody people who think they are better than everyone else DO these kinds of things like file false Complaints just to try to get their way or Control the areas they want to Control, the Police have no choice but to follow up on the Complaints, and they become Puppets of the Christians. This is what I worry about, not the Ladyboys.

I have Cruised the Walk many times near the Beach at night. It was Beautiful, I saw all kinds of people there and most all of them were very Friendly. In life everyone is looking for Something. The Walk is the place everyone gathers in hopes of finding that Something. I saw College and Office Girls looking for a Weekend date. I saw Freelance Prostitutes looking for a guy. (Which I do not have a Problem with, they were nice and Polite with me no one Harrassed me.) I saw many Ladyboys trying to Pick me up too, but it didn't bother me either. I am totally straight, but I laughed and joked with them, and I even gave one a Kiss on the Cheek to make them feel good. It's all how you look at things. People are not going to "Verbally Abuse" you unless you say something to INSPIRE that Verbal Abuse.

And out of a Crowd of people what do you think someone is going to THINK about WHO they might select as a Target for a Theft or Scam.? Maybe someone who is all dressed up looking down on the Thai people, maybe complaining about "The Red Light Areas" and wearing a bunch of Gold, and acting like and assshole. Yeah, I could see how someone like that might get a lot of different kinds of attention.

The fact that they Specifically targeted Ladyboys, because they are Ladyboys, makes me very suspicious. I have seen just as many Bar Girls involved in Scams and Taxi Drivers, and Tuk Tuk Drivers involved in Scams, More than I have seen any Ladyboy invovled in anything. The Ladyboys have always been very nice to me, even when I see them on a Dark Empty Street at 3 or 4 o'clock in the morning, they always act very nice to me. But then I am always telling them how Beautiful they look just to make the feel good. So maybe that's the Difference. Compassion and Understanding is always greater than Hatred and Contempt.

Christianity is BASED on a Belief of Hatred and Contempt. Buddhism is Based on a Philosophy of Compassion and Understanding. Christians Lie, file False Reports, and try to Manipulate the Laws and the Governments to enforce THEIR Beliefs on everyone, and limit the Freedoms of everyone.

Buddhism believes in UNDERSTANDING Human Behavior, NOT Condemning it.

The more the Government Officials and Police fall for the Scams of the Christians, and the Republicans, the more they will destroy Thailand for their own Selfish puposes. And all the Values that the Thai people once had will be Destroyed as well. All because the People had enough Compassion to allow Christians into the Country in the first place.

Muslims are just as bad, but in this case we are talking about Acts that were most likely started by the Christian Republicans. Those Evil Christians, ya gotta watch em, they're messed up in the head, believing in Fairy Tales and Delusional Ideas, and walking around thinking they are better than everyone else all the time. This is a Dangerous way to think. That is the way Hitler and Bush thinks.

You sound like you are a Republican, and your main issue is focused on Closing Down the Bars. (And taking away people's happiness) Cause that's what Republicans DO, that's the kind of people Republicans are. They are Kill Joys, Oppressors, Manipulators, all of this and More.

If all the Bars were to Close, I feel it would be a Tragic end, because the Bars bring many people happiness. Not only for the Foriegners who come to Thailand to get Laid, but also for the Thai Girls who like the Money and the Attention. Keep in mind that SEX IS NOT EVIL! If it were, then the Human Race would become extinct. Therefore many of the Thai Girls actually enjoy having Sex with foriegners. For example a Girl named Pen that I knew, Married a guy from England just last year. And she met him in a Bar in Pattaya. As well as many Thousands of other Girls who leave Thailand every day. They live happy lives in far away lands, and you never see that. But I do. I also see the Smiles of Happiness on the Nerds from far away who never had a beautiful girl even look twice at them in their Home Country, and when they come to Thailand and visit Pattaya, they are welcomed by Women who look like Magazine Material! They are welcomed in to a State of Euphoria where they can experience a sense of Love even for a while. They can Dance and have fun in ways they could only Dream about before. And many times the Thai Girl will actually be sincere about Caring for this person, because that's how Thai People are, they are warm Caring people. This in many cases Leads to LOVE, which is always a Good thing.

Now then we have the old guy who has just been dragged through a Miserable Divorce, he is broken hearted and ready to give up on life. But he comes to Pattaya and suddenly he has hope again, he can believe in Love again. He may even feel like Dancing again. And if things go well he may even re-marry a Thai Girl and start a whole new Life.

I researched the Business of Prostitution, in Angeles City Philippines, and in Bangkok, and Pattaya, I interviewed many girls and I experienced what there was to experience. From this, I can tell you that many of the Girls come to Pattaya, specifically to meet someone who will take them away, and give them a good life. For them Pattaya represents HOPE of a Brighter Future. For some Girls it is like a Dating Service, because I don't know if you know it or not, but Thai Law states that a Girl has the Right to Say NO to Sex if she Chooses to. So this actually takes away the Concept of Prostitution. Because considering this, this means that each individual girl only has to have Sex if she WANTS to.

And Believe it or not, most of the Girls LIKE having Sex. Sex is a Pleasurable act. It is not EVIL, it leads to LOVE. And it makes people happy. Only a Republican could take something so Beautiful and try to Destroy it. But then Most Republicans believe that everyone should Suffer through life then Go to Heaven, so in THEIR mind, Republicans think it is THEIR job to make SURE everyone is Miserable.

I think we ought to Focus our attention more on Closing Down all the Christian Churches instead of all the Bars. The Christian Churches Threaten the FREEDOM of the People. The Churches Strive to Destroy the Religion of Thailand, disrespect everything that Thailand was founded on, and try to insert their own Agenda into Thai Politics. Therefore the Christian Churches pose a much Greater Threat to Thailand than ANY Bar ever will. The Bars only offer people a possiblity of a little happiness.

This is really Good News, but Thailand still has a Long way to go yet. They are still depending on Foreign Investments to raise the Value of the Baht. The people who are going to really Change Thailand is the Thai people themselves. Each person must try to do more to Produce something.

Engineers should Design Electric Cars, Personal Home Wind Generators, Water Distillation Units, Operating Systems for Computers, (instead of just relying on Windows), things like this. This is how Japan became strong, by CREATING and Producing Quality Products that the World needs. Now Japan is Producing Cars so much better than the US, GM is shutting down, because GM intentionally designs cars to beakdown, so people will have to buy a new Car instead of designing the Cars to be easier to Fix. This has given Companies like Toyota (Who has Built their Reputation on Designing the Cars the way the Customer WANTS them designed- "You asked for it, You got it- Toyota), so they designed their Cars to be easier to Fix, while the US designed their Cars to be more Difficult to fix to try to Rip the Customer off. Japan is Winning. This is giving Japan an Economic Edge in the Automobile industry.

Thailand can follow the examples set by Japan, and by just design Quality Products, and do things that no one else is doing. Honda makes a Half Breed Electric, but no one is making a Fully Electric Car and Mass producing it, except Golf Cart makers. If Thailand designed and Produced a Fully Electric Car, it could put them on the economic Map so to speak. Things like this would make a much bigger difference in Thailand's economy than just Foreign Investments for Refining of Raw materials.

For years the World has treated the Thai people as Slaves, I want to Treat the Thai people like they deserve to be Treated, Like Royalty. That's why I am willing to give them all the Ideas I have to help them become Strong.

I am happy to see the Baht gain strength, but it's not enough yet. There is so much more to be done. But this is a glimer of hope.

I think the Emphasis here needs to be that Drinking and Driving is Bad, not The Water Festival. Too many times people try to Kill the Fun in Life, by putting the Focus on the activities as being the "Cause" when actually the Cause of these Deaths is more because of the ignorance and stupidity of the people who think it is okay to Drink and Drive.

Songkran is such a Unique festival, not only for Thailand, but many people around the World look to Thailand during this Festival. Even Yahoo is featuring Ads with Pictures of Pretty Thai Girls shooting a Water Pistol during this Time.

Many people who can't be there, are wishing they were, all around the World. It is a Celebration that is hailed and respected by many around the world because it is so Unique and different, and if you have ever participated you know it is a Blast as well!

So while every holiday has stupid people doing stupid things that get people killed or hurt, we should try to maintain our Focus, so as not to taint the festival itself, but focus on the real cause of the problems which were drinking and driving.

I think it is Sad that the Protesters can not have Faith in the Electorial Process. But I also believe that The Republicans bring this kind of thing upon themselves by operating in such Deceptive ways, which breeds mistrust among the people. And Republicans are not just acting that way in Thailand, they do it all over the World. It is their idea that they think they are better than everyone else, therefore they think it is okay to Manipulate the System to Force THEIR Beliefs on everyone, and use the System for their own personal gain.

People are not stupid, even though many Republicans THINK they are. People can only Stomach so much of the Republican Oppression, before they finally get fed up, and lose faith in the System. Then many people come to the Conclusion that the only thing Republicans can understand is Violence or Public Revolts. It is the actions of the Republicans that creates the Mobs. But the Republicans refuse to admit any Guilt EVER. This is why the people believe that their only course of Action is to Revolt against the System.

If the Republicans weren't doing anything wrong, then they would not create such Emotions in the people.

I feel like these Protesters are Very Brave Freedom Fighters, and I Salute them, and wish them the Best of Luck in their Efforts. I think it is a Good idea to hold an election to ease political tensions. It seems like a logical move to me. I think it is a smart thing to do. And I have to admire the Thai Government for even considreing it.

Because President Bush is Guilty of many of the same things as Thaksin, and they both are Republicans. Are we beginning to see a pattern here?

But the US would never give in to an election, instead they would rather Threaten and Torment thier own citizens with every means available to them.

So I have to Say I greatly admire the Thai Government for remaining Humble and Compassionate enough to hold a Re-election. I feel like they are setting the example for all the world to follow.

While many of you may be right about Thaksin, I don't believe that the people on this Message Board only hate Thaksin for raising Visa Rates or creating Immigration and Passport Problems, that would be absurd. Politics goes much deeper than just Visa Rates, but most Republican Sympathizers usually DO try to trivialize their Evil Acts. Republicans almost NEVER deal with the Facts, they almost ALWAYS engage in Cover-ups, and Deceptions, their Supporters are ususally the most Ignorant of all the People, making decisions without knowing all the facts, which is the very essence of Ignorance.

I believe that the Oppinions on this Message Board are mostly an accurate Reflection of how people really feel. I Believe that most of the people on this Board are well informed individuals, who can make sense of everything that is going on in the world. Many times a lot of the people on this Board are kinda Sarcastic, but many times the Sarcasm is Justified.

Republicans and Republican Sympathizers will always say they are "sick" of this or "Sick" of that, because Republicans do not believe in FREEDOM, they Believe in Oppressing the people. That is why they say are "Sick" of something to try to use thier influence to CONTROL how YOU Think. That's how they Work, that's how their minds work. That's why I Call Republicans EVIL.

They know very little, yet they act as if They are More Righteous than everyone else, and refuse to accept anyone else who does not believe the way they do. Republicans have always worked to Control and Oppress the people. In the US every time they get a Democrat in Office the Deficit is Decreased, and Social Programs are increased to HELP the people. Everytime a Republican gets in office they Spend all of our Money Killing Thousands of people in Wars, then we are Broke again.

Republicans always use their Postitions in Government for Personal Gain, in Business ventures and Investments, and they do very little to help the people unless they can figure out a way to make money in the process.

So at the very least I think this Election will give some people some glimer of Hope that things can get better.

I can understand what they are trying to do, they want to present a "Healthy" image in places that are repsonsible for caring about Health. But I DO think that there are some flaws in the way they write their documents. I think they should submit their Proposals to some English Or Thai Language Professors, then to some Legal people before they just come out and make Policy without THINKING about what they are Saying. "Anything with Alcohol Content" sounds like they are trying to play the Hard Nose again, and coming off sounding like Idiots in the Process.

My biggest fear, as a few others have already stated, is that this is just the beginning, and soon they will try to make this Policy Sweep across the Country until Alcohol is Banned all across Thailand. Republicans do not believe that Alcohol should be Legal anywhere, and as long as Thailand is being run by Republicans, then they will as a matter of Course, try to enforce their Personal Beliefs.

What everyone in Thailand needs to do, is pay attention to how the Republicans act, pay attention to the things they DO, pay attention to how they Word things with their Hard nosed style, and pay attention to how they act like they really don't care what anyone else thinks. Because as soon as the people of this world Realize how Ignorant, and Billigerent, the Republicans are, then MAYBE people will stop Supporting them, and allow everyone to live FREE again.

I think that Thailand Law Enforcement Prides itself on presenting and image of being hard nosed and Strict. They feel like this kind of attitude will actually scare people into abiding by the Law. It is a Scare Tactic and it can work, but I personally do not believe in a System that is Based on Hatred and Contempt of the People. The Buddhist way is to Understand Human Behavior not Condemn it, to remain Humble, Compassionate and Understanding. THIS is the Image that the Thai Government Officials and Law Enforcement should be presenting to the World. Not an Image of Hard Nosed Hatred and Contempt of the People.

The biggest problem now a days, is there is a World wide Movement in the Republican Parties around the world to incorporate almost a Gestapo style attitude towards the people to make them Conform.

You might begin to notice this in many aspects of Government espcially where the Republicans are making the Rules and Calling all the shots.

At the same time there is also an awaking by the Democratic and Liberitarian Parties that if they do not take some kind of action, the Republicans will completely destroy any Freedoms we have. This is going to lead to more and more Protests and Marches and could even lead to some radical behavior.

What the Law Enforcement and Government Officials fail to realize in many cases, is that THEY WORK FOR THE PEOPLE. So the more Hard Nosed they act, the more they Fuel a Revolution in Politics. In otherwords, through their own Actions they are only shooting themselves in the Foot.

This Hard Nosed Style is kind of a Tradition all across Asia, it has been for many years. But Those who Study Religion, Philosophy, and Politics, are begining to realize that this Hard Nosed Scare Tactic style, really doesn't work. It just makes people rebel against the Government, as it has so many times before in every corner of the world.

Obviously they are phobic about Teens engaging in the act of Sex. So these are attempts to make it "Policy" that Sex is to be Considered Evil, (By Some Republicans)even though Most Women begin Menstration at or around age 12. Looks like Mother Nature, Buddha, or the Aliens who Created us must not be as intelligent as the Moron Republicans who sit around and try to make up RULES to Make LOVE some kind of Evil Act.

The only thing the Republicans might actually achieve from all of this, is they might just Nurture more Hatred for the Republicans as these Teens become older and wiser and more involved in Politics, they will REMEMBER how they were Treated. Point #2, Mathematically Speaking, if you calculate the NUMBER of all the Species in the World during the time of Noah, (Including all the Animals, Reptiles, and Insects which have since been extinct), and figure out the dimensions for living space for each Species, and the Space to hold Fresh Food and Water for each species, and the TIME it would take to Gather each animal, reptile, and insect, including all the Poisonous ones, AND all the different kinds of Food they each would need for a period of 40 days and 40 nights. You will see it is impossible to build a boat large enough EVEN TODAY to hold all the Food, Water, and have enough Space to house all the Species in the World. Now think about how long it would take you to catch ONE wild Squirrel? Do you really think Noah could catch THAT MANY Wild Animals before the Flood? I don’t think so.

There are many other examples of contradictions and blatant falsehoods throughout the Bible. But let’s look for a moment at what does Christianity DO for the People?

By stating “Thou shalt not have no other God before me” Christians believe this to mean they should not ALLOW anyone else to Believe any Differently than THEY do. This is why Christians get involved in Missions all around the World to try to FORCE their Religion onto everyone else, with no respect what so ever for what other people might think or Believe. The ONLY thing the Christians want to do is FORCE their Beliefs onto others, and eventually try to FORCE their Beliefs into LAW in every country around the World to FORCE everyone who is NOT Christian to Live under Christian Beliefs.

Now if you believe that Christianity is a Righteous Religion then this doesn’t sound so bad. But what about FREEDOM for ALL? If you Force one Idea among everyone, then there IS NO FREEDOM. This is why the Native American Indians were forced off their Lands. This is why the Religions of Hawaii, Samoa, and many other tiny Islands in the Pacific have become almost extinct. Then shortly after the Christians FORCE their Religion on the people, they Take over their Land. Because Christians Believe they are BETTER than everyone else. This is why they come to a place like Thailand and try to “Teach” everyone that Buddhism is “Wrong”.

Christianity is Based on Hatred and Contempt of all others. Where Buddhism is Based on Compassion and Understanding, not Hatred and Contempt. The idea of going to another Country just to tell them their Religion is Wrong, THAT IDEA in itself is a form of Disrespect to the People of Thailand. As if to imply that the Christians KNOW BETTER, as if THEIR Religion is BETTER. They think of themselves as BETTER than everyone else. This is an Act of Disrespect to the people of Thailand, as if they Think the people of Thailand are nothing more than Ignorant Natives they need to “Save”. Like the “Saved” all the people in the Pacific right? They Stole their Lands, their Religions, then FORCED them to live in accordance with what THEY Believe. This is the Christian way.

But Speaking of Ignorance, Christians Ground their Beliefs in Ignorance, which is why the Tree of Knowledge is considered Evil in Christianity. Christians Teach Ignorance so they can convince people to accept their Beliefs which are based on Blatant LIES. The only way that Christians can get people to accept their Beliefs is by making people to think in ignorant ways. Which is Dangerous to Society as a whole. In otherwords from then on, all decisions which are made, in Government, Laws, and Society as a whole are based on Ignorance, NOT KNOWLEDGE! This is like closing your eyes while Driving a Car! Not only do they destroy their OWN lives, they also Spead Misery, Hatred and Contempt upon everyone they come in Contact with. Because once their Beliefs are made into Laws, anyone who Believes any differently, such as Drinking after Midnight, or even Drinking and Partying at ALL, will be Persecuted by Christian Authorities. This is just ONE example, there are THOUSANDS of others. The Point here to remember is when you take away FREEDOM, and Replace it with Ignorance, you only Create Suffering for everyone. NOT HAPPINESS.

Buddhism is Based on Compassion and Understanding, so instead of Condemning Human Behavior Buddhism teaches to try to UNDERSTAND it. This Leads to GROWTH in KNOWLEDGE, which increase people’s understanding, so they can make BETTER Decisions about Life, and the World Around them. Buddhism is based on TRUTHS and Natural Laws, not Scriptural BS that contradicts Scientific FACT.

You don’t see too many Buddhists Invading other Countries to tell them THEIR Religion is Wrong do you? No, Because Buddhism bases itself on the Law of Cause and Effect. They don’t do things to others, because they don’t want people doing things like that to THEM. This is a Natural Law which is Stricter than some False God and False Scriptures. Christians believe in Holy Wars and Forcing their Beliefs on others, and all in the Name of their False God. Just the Same way the Muslims do. Christians have Blown up Abortion Clinics in the US, they have Bombed places in the UK, and Even in the Middle East. Christians Took over the Philippines and told them “You either practice Christianity or we will KILL YOU!” That is why the Philippines is Christian while all the Surrounding Countries are Hindu or Buddhist.

The Bottom line is Christianity is a False Religion, and it does not Help the people. It only Hurts EVERYONE.

Buddhism Helps everyone who practices it. So the TRUTH is in the Actions of a Religion. A TRUE Religion WORKS. A False Religion, by it’s very Nature causes Chaos and Disorder, and brings Suffering upon the people.

This is common in Many Countries, Thailand has just now gotten around to adopting it. I think that more importantly they are trying to get a hold of the idiots who are doing the Bombings. And the easiest way to track them is through the paper trails of the Money. Prior to this Law, the Terrorists were buying Gold and Diamonds because it is easily transferable in all countries back into Money. Therefore making it hard for the Law Enforcement and Anti-Terrorist people to track them. They are passing Laws like this to help try to Tighten the Grip on these Terrorist organizations. I would much rather they do things like this than just look the other way and let Thai people become casualties in some idiots Bombing Raids. Even ONE Thai or Forgiener Dying from these Idiots is too many.

Okay, I am a White American Male Born and Raised in Mid Michigan. This is MY PERSONAL Experience, and should not be taken as a Justifcation for ALL other White Males attitudes towards Western Women. BUT- In my Youth the White Women in my High School treated me like Dirt. I wound up dating Latina and Asian Girls. Then I joined the US Airforce. So after 15 Years I return to the Mainland US and I find that the majority of Women in the US are all hung up on how much Money a Man has in his Bank Account, what kind of Car he Drives, and all this Materialistic BS. So if you as a Western Woman, sense a bit of Rejection from all other Western Men, maybe it's because the VALUE SYSTEM you are so Proud of (Note how you describe yourself), Does not apply in places like Thailand and the Philippines. Here many Women care more about how a man TREATS her, rather than how much Money he might have. Sure ALL women want Money. But Thai Women have lived with out many of the things that Western Women have. So Thai Women don't care if a Man has a Car or Rides the Sky Train. Western Women not only CARE they won't even DATE you if they don't like your Car!

There in lies your Problem. Your Attitude and the Way that the Majority of Western Women have TREATED the Western Men, is what creates the Resentment you sense now.

The Sad fact of ths matter is the Majority of the people in Thailand are not even AWARE of What these Republicans are doing, or that there is even anything WRONG with Republican Oppression. And until people can get it straight in their heads what each Political Party Represents, these kinds of things will continue to occur whenever you have a Republican in Office. Republicans are NOT about FREEDOM, they are about CONTROL. If it is FREEDOM you want, then the people must Vote for Freedom, by Voting for Democrats or Liberitarians.
