Not to sure what your saying here, but why would you not go out and buy a complete new airconditioner? Both compressor and wall unit. Usually a dripping aircon is an indication you have a block somewhere.

My advice is to get an airconditioner thats more powerful for the room, as it won't have to work as hard. If 9000 BTU room, i'd go for 12000 and so on.

Hi, with your old lady only having a work permit for just a few months, then I can't see her getting a credit card just yet. Most banks want to see a work permit for longer than that, payslips for at least 6 months and other documents. I guess you can try, but if It were me, I would hold off a little longer.

Not really a great lot to choose from on Sathorn road, carpark wise. May i suggest driving into Silom on Soi Saladaeng 2, and there you have a great big multi level carpark . (40 baht per hour). Next to that is Central Silom Complex, where you will have no problems at all getting a space. From there a 10 minute walk to the Australian Embassy.
