Drive through the 'express lane' and hand the book over. Don't say that you have been rebuilding etc. They will either do it for you or not.
You can tax a car at any LTO so maybe try a different one ... preferably one with a drive through express lane ...
I thought the car road tax must be paid where the car was first registered at, if this is to be true will save me driving to Bung Khun Thien every year. I tried taxing a car at Jutujak LTO, and they said I couldn't, showed in the back of book where it was first registered, had to do it at Suan Pak LTO. Any Clarification on this would be great?

Received three fines 2 weeks ago, one dates back as far as February, so I don't think the are sending them out in record time, was caught speeding all 3 times on the Bang Na Chonburi expressway. One thing that was strange was, only one of the fines i could pay at the bank, the other 2 fines, I had to go to the post office and get a money order, send a stamped self addressed envelope so the receipt could be posted back to me. What a major hassle that was as it's rather unclear on the fine. It has taught me to back off on the pedal now.
I heard that when you go to renew your license and you have outstanding fines they won't allow you to renewed your license until the fines are paid, does anyone know if there's any truth to that?

Car wash places are very hit and miss in this country. Expensive doesn't automatically mean good. I could recommend half a dozen that are good today, but who's to say the don't go bad next week, which seems to be the case here. Remember most of the work that is done on your car is migrant labour with a Thai running the place and collecting the money, but hey at 150 to 180 for a wash and vacuum you can't really complain. After my car has been washed I take it home and finish off the detailing myself.

I order all my car care products from Lazada. They have all the big name brands like Meguiars, Chemical brothers etc. Much cheaper than the department stores.

Yes I am testing in Thailand.
Look at the top left hand corner of my screen capture in my previous post for the location and the top right hand corner for the time/date.
No I am not using a VPN although this may be the problem.
If these FTA channels are geolocation blocked, an AU VPN may be the answer.
For me all 9HD channels work in all states, the Sky NSW Racing Channel works in SD, for the Fan Channels I get a message saying the the BPM channels are no longer available since 28 Feb 2017, for Tenplay I get a message saying that "your live stream will commence shortly" but nothing else happens, and that's all I can get to work.
Been trying to watch, but nothing seems to be working regarding the 7 and 9 channels. Are they still up and running for you?
-
Hi
Seems like all the channels are down at the moment, I have noticed when it is working channel 9 works fine without a VPN, for channel 7, a VPN is needed.
I will just keep using the 7 and 9 apk apps download on my android box for the time being, as they are always working. The Australian freeview apk app also works great all of the time, but you need a VPN to to watch it.
Hope this has helped you.
Would love to know how to watch foxsports Australia over here. Do you know anyway of getting it?
I see Thai expat tv have a package with the foxsports Australia channels included, tried it on a trial and all channels worked perfectly, but at 1200 baht a month, a little expensive for me.
Looking for a way around that.

Hi Hansiver,
Window film will cost you anywhere from a few thousand baht to have put on, but don't expect it to last very long, just take a look at some of the cars driving around with all the bubbles between the film, right up to 30,000 baht+ for the so called high end film. I suggest you stick with a well know brand such as 3M, as most of these tints will come with a 5 to 7 year warranty. Go to a shop that specializes in fitting window tint where they apply it in a booth in a dust free environment, and stay away from the guy fitting it on the street or the guy offering you a mighty deal in the Big C carpark. You do get what you pay for when it comes to window film. Just make sure you choose a tint that's going to block the UV. Darker doesn't always mean better. Google it and do your research.
Hope this has cleared up some of your questions

Here's a link to "plugin.video.mxoz-1.0.9":
Just 'install from zip' through Kodi like normal.
I haven't tried them all but some of the channels still work.
Hi Jai Dee,
Exactly what I was looking for..
Thank You

Me too. Ditching my IPTV subscription. Same old story, work good at the start, then hopeless.
Have ANY of these communication companies heard about 'customer service'?

Hi used this
http://www.acuterealty.com/calculator.asp
About 6 weeks ago and then went to the land transfer office in Pattaya to do the transfer, it was spot on well was out by about 300 baht.. so for me yes it is working perfectly. Just make sure the information you enter is %100 correct regarding things like previous owners name in the registration book for more or less than 5 years, as It will make a very large difference to the amount of tax that is needed to be paid..
Cheers

Bought a civic new in 2007, drove it for 8 years totally trouble free, that's what i would be going for if i was you, easy on petrol if driven properly. Honda have so many service centers all over Thailand, ( cheap to service so stick with Honda as they know what they are doing) and on par with bquik in price. You can pick up a nice 2007 with full service history starting around 300,000. Take your time at looking as the prices have dropped dramatically with all the new models that have come out. The market is flooded with them so there are some great bargains out there ..
Good luck at whatever you choose.....just my 2 cents.

Hi, I need to replace the curtains, the usually studio double sliding glass door onto the balcony size. At the moment I have those paper thin curtain that the sun shines straight through on a string pully system. So am looking for something that will at least block out the sun.
Does anyone have any recommendations where I can go and choice what I want, and have them come and fit them, and a ball park figure of what the cost will be. Just looking at average styles.
Thanks

Hello,
Just removed the Easy Pass Tag from the inside of the front car window, am left with all the adhesive glue stuck on the film. What's the best way to remove all the sticky glue stuck to the film without doing any damage. Tried Windex but that's not having any effect on cutting through the glue. Any ideas on how to get it off would be appreciated.
Thanks
