does anyone know where i can buy chilli oil for chinese cooking?

Have you considered substituting where possible?
Fresh galangal is readily available in every Thai supermarket. Grate it and use a bit less than you would of the dried version.
For the solid coconut cream, use coconut milk (again available from every supermarket). Let it stand in the fridge in a bowl for a few hours, then scoop off the thick stuff on top. Reduce the other liquid in your recipe to compensate.
For shrimp paste, use the local Thai version. It's not quite as strong as belanchan (I'm guessing that's the same as terassi), but it's pretty close. Again, from any supermarket.
And as for candlenut, you can sometimes find them in local markets - particularly those with a Moslem section, but I find that raw cashewnuts are a reasonable alternative.
The item u may have a problem is kemiri
I have some kemiri at home
am willing to share
if u want u can join warung de bangkok on facebook
indonesian food site on facebook

You may well find that the version of Absinthe available today does not have the same potency/ingredients as the original.
They have it at Hyde&Seek
maybe you can ask them

Not seen Ketchup Manis here. I used to buy it in the UK years ago but it was made in Holland. Try looking for a super market that sells Dutch food or possibly ask in a Dutch restaurant, they will tell you . I miss the stuff also and its not the same as ordinary sweet soy.
You will be able to get it at the Diplomatic YWCA bazaar on the 27th of Nov at Central Ladprow
be early so as not to get disappointed that it has finished

Did a little research and the green orange they press on the street are Som Sai Nam Pung (sweet orange). They have a other variety that look like a lime and it's a tangerine Som Keaw Wan.
Go look at: http://www.simply-thai.com/Thai-Market_Fruit_Orange.htm
I prefer juice from Som Bangmod

If you can't find Kashmiri chili powder, you can substitute 3 parts paprika to 1 part cayenne pepper. It's not an exact flavor match, but it'll get you the red color.
As a last choice call this number and see if the lady stocks this
