I want to buy a sturdy good quality sofa in Bangkok.

Readymade is fine, custom made is also an option.

If it costs more but is good value for money that is fine with me.

I watched some YouTube videos how sofas are made. Below is one of those videos. I am no expert, but it seems this is one example of a sturdy built sofa which will probably last for many years.

Where can I buy/order such a sofa in Bangkok or around Bangkok?

I would love to be able to visit the manufacturing place to look myself at their (hopefully) quality work.

I want fabric and not leather. I think that is much better in this climate.

What are your thoughts and ideas? Did you buy a high-quality sofa in Bangkok?

Maybe flick an email over to J.D.Vance?

Well without going into a very deep dive type analysis of and posters on this forum, the reality is that most Thais are not introspective. The entire educational process that they're subjected to denies the possibility of curiosity, and suppresses the desire to question things, and what you end up with is an infinitely less curious person than what you would have had.

I know when I was going to school it was perfectly natural and perfectly acceptable to ask my teachers questions, and to even question the nature of the lessons I was being given, especially when it came to higher education. From what I understand that's just not the case here. So I think it's actually a very healthy thing for us to encourage our women to question things, question the system, question what they've been taught, question the nature of tradition and tribalism, and just question the nature of life. Introspection is a wonderful quality, and questioning things is is a great way to live your life. Why should we accept things at face value?

Of course the elites and the authorities, and some in very powerful positions would consider this dangerous thinking, and this is exactly why I think it's a wonderful thing for a Thai woman to be exposed to. Without sounding overly important as an expat, I think it's one of the many things that we bring to the table here.

What a considered and thoughtful reply .... with useful and interesting information. I retract my snark and enjoy my read. Thank you.

I think the reality is that they don't really want us here, I think they tolerate us, but they don't really want us here. After all we influence some of their women into asking questions, having open minds, and creative thinking! None of those are a good thing for a regressive regime.

I think most Thai people are fine with us and don't have a problem with us it's the politicians and the incredibly toxic government that are xenophobic.

Influencing folks to be questioning, into having open minds and creative thinking? Is that your experience from AN posters? We're all such good examples of this after all!

"I was wrong about him," Vance told CNN in May. "I didn't think he was going to be a good president. And I was very, very proud to be proven wrong. It's one of the reasons why I'm working so hard to get him elected."

Words you will never hear come out of the mouth of a leftist hater about anyone or anything... they will take their "right" to be an idiot to the grave...

Just give it 12 months and Vance will be saying " I was wrong about him, I thought he was going to be a good candidate  ... "

So the guy unilaterally imposes tariffs on imported goods, claiming "China will pay", when in reality those tariffs just get tacked on to what US consumers, not China, pays.....and then when China retaliates by sourcing agricultural products from South American nations, the guy had to dole out tens of billions of dollars to US Farmers in what can only be described as Socialism/Communism.

The phrase best describing what the guy did: "Full on Incompetent"

You got it! "Free Markets" means I have (or demand) free unfettered access to your national market but put tariffs and trade barriers restricting your access to mine. Everyone plays this game and there's always an excuse for it. Some worse than others and some a little better.

It's <deleted> anyway - if there was ever to be a free Market it would have to be free market in Capital AND Labor - you can't have a free market that allows the unrestricted movement of one whilst denying the movement of the other. Just as capital demands the right to move where it will receive the greatest return, so should labor be free to move to wherever it gets the greatest return.

You actually think because many do something that it makes it right? Majority rules but it doesn't mean it's right. How do you know what lifestyle I have from a few words typed? Assuming is done quite often here, and it's not something that works. Having a hooker laugh at me because she opens her legs for money isn't something I'll worry about. There is a higher power many don't think about nor care to believe in, but it's coming, and Karmas a real bitch. You, and others thinking this trade is okay when prostitutes are killed almost daily, and abused much more often, shows your level of thinking. If you have children, is this the attitude you teach them?

That unlikely to be be why she's laughing at you,

I’m insulted by people that pretend to want to enter into a discussion, and then just make inane comments.

How do you know you’re not a leftist if you no nothing?

    You post like a leftist.

You are of course right - I'll cop to not wanting to get into a discussion with you. I apologize. But I do find it a little difficult to do so with someone writing "no nothing" continually. That is to my shame and I should show more comity in that regard.

I'm not assuming anything. I'm replying to others posts. They might be lying about everything they post but I'm only reacting to what they write. if it's lies why bother posting them? Your thinking that sex workers and clients are doing a good thing is wrong, and it isn't my opinion. Out of touch with reality  with  what evil there is in this world might be your shortcoming, as it is with many others who's heads are stuck in the sand. This world is a bad place in many ways because people think bad actions are okay as long as they benefit from them, and not caring what effect it has on their victims.

Ok, Ok, Ok, so going short time is not a good thing and cannot become a good thing by people thinking it so. So, I guess that leaves long time?

Yea..  that was me who made a comment.

Basically you are a saddo for paying to be touched. But this is not why I made that comment. My comment was because he mentioned being stoned while going short time. Why do you need to be stoned out of your mind to nutz? Yea... maybe because the girl is ugly or because you don't want to deal with consequences of your actions banging a prostitute who was creamed by thousand Indians before you.

that makes you a triple saddo.

BTW, some of you safdos don't seem to get it. If you are in a relationship and the woman really loves you, she will do anything for you. That is millions of times more exciting than you paying a prostitute. Use your imagination.

And yes....  it is my business if you post it on a forum for everyone to see.

You really believe that do you? No you don't. Here's a use of the imagination... imagine that you have a particular kink called coprophilia or imagine that your near and dear is a dead set coprophiliac and you'd know it if only you asked her. Anything??? Would you do anything? Would you expect that? Well now, a kink is just a kink and for some even a sloppy Joe is a kink. You do the analogies here and see where you land. Be a gentleman and place your head under the throne, or better still ask your dear one to slide on under.

  10. Are tampons really that frightening? I saw a tampon when I was but a wee whipper snapper and it didn't frighten me back then in 1946. If my 9 year old son started whelping and carrying on because he'd seen a tampon I'd clip him around the ears and tell him to grow a pair. Really, afraid of tampons of all things. Now if he freaked out because he'd seen some these new fangled ribbed extra large condoms....well, ok, I suppose I'd be cool with that.
