I love their accurate statistics, to one decimal point ! They are for accidents that happen up to 6pm, so a lot of people must be up all night sorting out accident reports from all over the country. Never believe any Thai statistics that you read, they love making up numbers. Just look at TAT, They are the best.

PM urges public to keep masks on throughout holiday season
jaiyen replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Why is it that everyone is told to wear a mask when the majority of masks are useless and do not stop anything that comes out of the mouth or is breathed in. It is a worldwide brainwashing of the population to make them think they are having an effect in keeping Covid at bay. However the increasing numbers of cases prove otherwise. When Covid first came out we were repeatedly told that only N95 masks were any good. Now the rules say that any mask will do !! A $1 paper mask is not going to help. -
Is that the best gig he could get for NYE ??

They will only target the establishments that they don't own or control. Too much easy money to let them go.

Gov’t aims to grow more mangrove forests to curb air pollution
jaiyen replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Mangroves will only absorb CO2, as stated, but will be of no use to help with carbon emissions and PM2.5 particles. They are solid particles not a gas. Another dumb idea from those that think the know best ! -
Foreigners in Thailand warned about not wearing face masks
jaiyen replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
About 18 months ago when Covid started it was proved that nearly all masks were useless except N95 and high grade surgical masks. Now it is a worldwide demand that people must wear a mask ! Doesn't matter if it is a one dollar piece of rubbish that offers no protection. The governments are saying it just to make things look good in their eyes and to control the people and conning them into thinking they are doing the right thing and protecting the world by wearing a rubbish mask. Total BS ! And the numbers keep rising despite jabs and masks ! -
Thai kids leave school unable to write and read Thai language properly so how the hell are they going to learn a second language ? There is no help for them unless they pay to learn privately. At a pinch some can speak poor English but there are many who speak it perfectly. It does help to have an English speaking parent. Maybe thats why Prayut cant speak any English !

Engineers council proposes methods to solve flooding in Bangkok
jaiyen replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
His first marvellous technological proposal was to know when it was likely to flood ! Duh ! Isn't that called a weather forecast ? Already got that. Doesn't hold much hope for any more of his ideas. -
