  1. Hmmmm........ :o

I am no Dr Love but i'll give it a shot:-

To start a relationship with a Thai woman is not hard but finding the right woman or your soul mate is kinda tough. If you are on a hunt, you might as well forget about a life partner. My advice, don't hunt coz you'll might meet with a beautiful and respected woman when you are not looking.

As for friendship, it's easy ...... as a farang you shouldn't have any problem with that. Just watchout for your wallet at times.

But above all, you must understand the local cultures and "do's and don't" while being with a Thai woman. In that way things would go on easy for you and your relationship.

  2. So far so good for me, even though i see them like 5 to 6 days in a month now but planing a more permanent stay later on.

They accept me well eventhough at first they were kinda sceptical about me and my seriousness in marrying their daughter. But after the marriage things are okay. And i am happy the way they have treated me so far.

  3. Greetings,

Thank you to dr_Pat_Pong, astral and whattodo for replying my questions.

Another thing here that i wonder, i read a posting regarding the "visits" at your home from the immigration when applying the "O" visa, does this applys to me too? Or this is only for extensions of the "O" visa?

Oh! yeah, and is this Non Immigrant O Visa valid for 3 months or 12 months?

And i need to show them that i earned more than 40K a month when extension right?

    Thanks

  4. Greetings,

I am sure my questions have been brought up before by other posters, but i just want to make sure of my situation. Please help..

I am legally married to a Thai citizen and planning to stay in Bangkok (where my wife is now) next month. I am still seeking work in Bangkok but currently still under my "old" company.

    1) What type of visa can i get? To stay longer in Bangkok.

    2) What is the duration of this visa?

    3) What papers do i need when i apply? Other papers beside the marriage certificate.

    4) How long is the process to get this visa done?

    5) Anyone knows how much it cost?

BTW i am a Malaysian working in Malaysia now and there is a Thai Embassy in Kuala Lumpur.

    6) Can i apply my visa there?

    7) Is this a multi-entry visa or not?

    8) Do i need to go back to my country to get a working permit or change the visa later when i get a job?

    Thank You

  5. From my experience if it's business first i think it would be okay just a matter of choosing the right girl for the situation that you have planned. But jealousy is always there, just play (pay) it fair and i think you'll might have your "Dream" come true.

And about the "kinky stuff" you got in your closset,.... talk it over with the girl(s) first before even bringing them "home".

    Good Luck! :o

  6. By the way - what's the weather like over there at the moment? This time last year in the UK it reached 100 degrees for the first time in recorded history. This year has been the coldest and wettest in recorded history! Who said there was no such thing as global warming????

It's been sun , sun, rain ,sun, rain and more sun here and then the rain again then the sun.... it goes on.

Prefered if you could provide you pets with air-condition room first before they get sunburn or heatstroke when they are here, the afternoon could be hot and humid. Takes time for them to climatise anyway.

Anyway check sites at google for weather conditions in Thailand it may help you alot.

  7. I'm bringing my 10 month old iguana (taste good with curry, but i'm not planning to eat it ) and according to the Airline, Thai officials only require the Medical Cert from the your local Vet (atleast a week before departing) and an export papers in which the airline you take would prepare it for you.

Besides that just prepare all the info required by the airlines such as what animal, size, color, age, and not forgeting the details of the cage also.

An additional advice, take photo of your pet before checking them in... polaroid would be good, or digital camera. In case they lost your pet during handling.
