Had buffet lunch at Robin's Nest on Soi Diana today. The buffet is 200 baht and water is 40 baht.

Good price considering all you can eat or too expensive?

My gripe is with the dental dept.

The lady dentist speaks barely any English so patient and doc are fumbling to explain and understand each other. Hardly helpful when you're in pain or trying to know what comes next. I mentioned my problems but felt they were not being looked after properly.

Secondly, I had no choice but to finally scold my doc as she had Carabao rock guitar solos playing loud and unbelievably loud chatter while I'm lying in pain with the cloth with a hole around my mouth covers my face (which maximizes sounds as you can't see).

She has/had a group of student interns who were cackling away on their phones (which kept ringing) and until I said something, this just went on and on. While the doc was drilling away, she had her phone on the loudest ringer known to mankind in her lab coat pocket next to my ear. AARGH!

The ladyboy intern was nauseating with his non stop "life of the party" antics in his unmistakable fake lady voice. I finally called them out and said "this is a hospital, not Big C." They shut up fast. But who am I? The client, not their parent.

I'm very happy using any of the many clinics around town and the docs are bilingual and there's no games, to the point. There's enough stress involved going to a hospital, I don't need the doc adding to it carelessly.

Can't help thinking a change of logo might work wonders for this restaurant's takings....

If you don't mind, on 1st impression, what has changed for better or worse?

All prisoners can receive visitors. Visitation is by no means an admission of guilt or an implication of involvement in a crime. I fail to see the reasons worry.

I'm off to see Carabao on 11/8 at the Jomtien indoor stadium on Chaiyapreuk. I'm always worried that my tickets won't arrive by mail or won't be at the will call window so I'm pleased to walk up to the ticket counter at the Avenue movie theater and walk away with concert tickets in minutes.

I'm still a fan of WS journal. I did not find POT to be amusing or terribly interesting. Some of the columns can be found elsewhere already so that's only repeated in POT.

Recently ordered their nacho plate. I thought I was on Candid Camera because the plate had 10 nachos arranged in a circle with a blob of salsa on each. I refused it as anyone who has ever had a nacho plate knows it's a stacked gooey mess.

Update 9/26:

JP has come back to Pattaya! It seems he is temporarily residing at Nova Park on Soi AR as he's friends with the owner.

He played for 90 minutes at Blues Factory last night with Lam Morrison and took requests from the small audience throughout. I personally requested "Black Dog" and "Heartbreaker" which were amazingly played. Those solos blew my mind...

Around 10am this morning, I'm going to meet him at Jameson's on soi AR for breakfast. Come join us and then back to Blues Factory tonight for his last show.

Go to Amaxz massage chair shop on 4th floor Central Festival Beach Mall and sample their chairs for 15 minutes each all for free.

I think the police should do a daily, yes daily swoop of Beach road, pull the girls into the station to aggravate/fine them, and keep doing it until they go use Pattaya Beer Garden exclusively to ply their trade. I live facing Beach road and the girls sicken me to the point of hardly using the path from central to south.

He was in Blues Factory once again tonight playing for near 2 hours (possibly part of the winter line up) and didn't sh1t, not even once.

What proof is the photo that Mr. Page was/is in Pattaya?

He's at The Blues Factory practically every night. I'll be there tonight to meet him again and see him play all the Zep classics.
