“India is a country that proudly embraces freedom, liberty, individual rights, the rule of law, and the dignity of every human being,” Trump said while addressing a rally of more than 100,000 people in Modi’s home state of Gujarat. “Your unity is an inspiration to the world.”
I wonder how many of the rioters were wearing those white Trump hats from the Trump rally?

I read where 100,000 people from India turned out for this Trump rally.
The Trump haters are going to have to do some serious mental gymnastics now to convince themselves Trump is racist and his supporters are only old white guys in trailer parks, etc.
So this trip by Trump was all about virtue signalling his racial tolerance? Same as with giving the majority of green card applications and H1Bs to Indians?

No, it's the other way around. Houston is like India.

I believe Khun Prayut Chan O Cha will be around for a long time yet. He isn't going anywhere.
He has big support up country as I have witnessed on many occasions.
Thais are happy to have the security and stability, they are sick and tired of road blocks and protests and fighting. Farang keep telling us Thailand is going down the drain and it's the final nail in the coffin and bla ..bla ..bla .. but funny thing is Thailand just keeps ticking over as it has done for the last decade and will continue for decades to come. Tourists keep coming and infrastructure continues to be created.
enough said.
What 's "fifty cent" in Thai?

And in Thailand it's the opposite, people cram into air conditioned malls in the hot season. Not unusual to get a cold here when it's over 35 outside.
My physician has told me that they are just now rolling out the vaccine for the new flu season and told me to get my shot in March or April for when the peak hits, when rainy season hits. I guess the same principle is at work. When it rains people tend to group up indoors rather than outside.

It's already been 35 and 36 in my part of Bangkok for the highs the past two weeks or so. I guess the virus is waiting for the temperature to get to 37 or maybe 38 before it decides to migrate north for the summer???

Wish she would go after Impeached Donald with the same vigor and zest about his NDAs. I guess she would rather attack someone in her own party's nomination.
Nominate Warren and Trump is the next one she goes after. Nominate Bloomberg and you lose the issue and suck the energy from your base.

I don't think people should laugh at these natural remedies. The cure for malaria came from the bark of a tree.

Immigration will be working overtime to process the vast numbers of tourist which they are expecting at any moment.
Great. I'll be standing there, waiting for six hours, surrounded by 500 people who just flew in from China.

Sign the piece of paper. Pull out the US forces. And then get ready for all hell to break out. And the result for two decades of an American presence in Afghanistan will be trillions spent, massive deaths, and a country in ruins. Way to go, GWB.

Hey, Mr. US Treasury official (is that you, Stevie?), they weren't going to buy them anyway.

“If there is an infectious disease lab in a city where an outbreak starts, it usually gets the blame.”
How many cities are there with infectious disease labs and where an epidemic started?

The nationally televised debate will give many voters their first unscripted look at Bloomberg, a media mogul and former New York mayor whose campaign has been fuelled by hundreds of millions of dollars of self-funded television ads and carefully choreographed personal appearances.
And he bombed. Warren tore him to shreds.

Perhaps understandably, not one of Trump’s TVF apologists has come forward to defend this.
But then neither has any one of them criticized Trump for this.
As a trump has explained, economics over national security.
It's all about the stock market. It's all he cares about. He would sell off Washington DC if he could get 5000 points on the DOW out of it.

As I predicted over a year ago, Trump will turn out to be the biggest China dove this side of the PLA. He has done a 180 on everything to do with them. What do people expect from a narcissistic con artist whose only actions are motivated by self interest?

Bwana McArthur has a point. She has revealed a cruel and a detestable way to carry on things. But her self righteous posing won't help. Stanley, Livingstone, Speke, Baker, and even Burton opposed slavery but realized they had to make some accommodations, at least at the beginning, with the Arab slave traders to advance towards their final goal. People used to know how to work to achieve moral aims. Now they just use it as an issue to pound the heads of their adversaries.

who denigrates farmers and workers
One thing I do know is this, as regards Bloomberg's contempt for farmers and working people: When things are falling apart and the US dollar has lost its status as the reserve currency because of Trump's deficits and monetizing the debt, bringing about hyperinflation, the person I would rather have with me is a farmer. Not some NYC money shuffler or another NYC real estate fraud who is in and out of bankruptcy and ready to leave everyone else holding the bag.

Now that their only Hail Mary pass might be a rich, white, racist, woman hater who denigrates farmers and workers they gleefully point out he is a bigger billionaire?
Actually, you're right for once. The last thing this country needs is another narcissistic, condescending New York City billionaire.

Calling Tim Cook a crook is just sad, fraudulent, nonsense. Watch he handles this and how he will steer the ship. As a CEO, human rights activist, role model, and a man that is accorded the highest degree of respect in whatever country he goes goes to he is one of the greatest of all time. Hate on Steve Jobs all you want but Cook isn't what you are making him out to be.
About your hero, Tim the crook, Ricky Gervais said it best. "[Apple] "rolled into the TV game with a superb drama about the importance of dignity and doing the right thing, made by a company that runs sweatshops in China." and accordingly, "It's a reference to Apple's partnership with the Chinese manufacturing company Foxconn, which assembles the iPhone. Both Apple and Foxconn have been found to have violated Chinese labor laws and used illegal student labor to build the iPhone."

That's your hero, who you justify because you want to see your stock price go up. Sickening!
