  1. @ Viking

Do not know what you drink when you type, but your English is getting worse after the mob has been removed.

Herby said; As long as the Thai society is being influenced by people who have the mind/attitude as this poster we have a long way to go to overcome the political turmoil.

As long as people only blame the other party but refuse to take some blame for them selves, this finger-pointing will not end in our life-time.

And it's sad that this PM (who was elected in parlement, who had by the way the most PTP members, but many of them abstained their vote) had never a chance to proof that he is the man who can do the job, who could bring Thais closer to each other, who could close the gap between poor and middle class, caused by previous greedy not to be named governments.

He had the best chances to restore somewhat of the trust between the Thais and the southern provinces, destroid by previous not be named governments, etc, etc.

But there were people who had planned their revange from before day 1, so the PM never got a chance to proof his good intentions, and now people (who have plotted against him) want to tell the rest of us morons?? that, see what has this PM done for the country.

previuos govenrments have looted the country without setting it on fire, but they lit the heat.

So back to my cup of coffee

  2. something to think about

Suthikiart Jirathiwat and Pracha Maleenont are quite close to Thaksin Shinawatra. They are still on good terms. If the reds set the blaze it would not make sense at all.

Places burnt down are symbolic of regime/system and representation of success. However the perpetrators are sparing many business locations

Dusit, MBK, ASTV, Nation, SisaoTewes, Pullman Kingpower, all left untouched.

Those would've been the reds' targets. Remember who was feuding with Central and BEC before all of this? Who was the biggest enemy of the Central Group and Ch. 3 in the past 3 years? The direct beneficiary of the fire is not reds or Thaksin...it's the man who feuded.

The fire kills 5 birds with one stone: Channel 3, Central, Thaksin, Reds, Anti-Monarchists. Pongpat was used. Game over for Thaksin as he and reds are delegitimized, while opponents of Central/Bangkok Bank/BEC benefit. Think about this for a minute and you'll realise the missing jigsaw of this puzzle.

The men behind the blaze are the men who wanted to drive BEC/Central/BBL out of business and blame it on protestors. The fires irrevocably end the reds shirts movement for now, while Thaksin cannot conceivably ever return to politics or even to Thai soil.

The victims of the fire are not Thaksin/Reds's enemies. They are the enemies of Thaksin's enemies. Ultra-hardcore-right-winged conservative types stand to benefit from this chaos.

Watch the aftermath closely and you'll see. Those who are desperate about clinging on to power are required to create an element of fear in the heart of its population. The incentive is greater than those who are aspiring to attain power.

People will go to great lengths to protect remaining interests while the threat is eliminated to foster a rally-round-the-regime type of feeling.

The goal of the movement to eliminate Thaksin forever from the system was not accomplished until today. It is end-game for him. We lose. Regime wins.

May I stress not coincidence ASTV, Nation, PullmanKingPower, Dusit remain untouched. This battle is deeper than what meets the eyes. And SiSao is untouched.

This is a post right off twitter from last night. Either you are the original author or you have plagiarized. Which is it?

I would prefer you view on the matter rather than your fastidious observation!

So you are a nutter after all

Back it up by facts, no speculations, why have red-shirt leaders and followers openly stated that they would burn Central World down.

Or you might be hit in the head as well, probably you think it's a British conspiracy made in Tonbridge Kent??

  4. Every single Thai I know supports this man - I hope in the weeks and months ahead, he shows everyone a path towards peace, reconciliation and unity.

You must only have friends that are Yellow shirts.

He has just never been beyond the air conditioning.

Somtum, are you Abhisit's illegal Burmese maid that he keeps in the basement? You need to get out a bit more.

    Crancking, but funny

  5. A leader who brings a country through a bloody crisis is going to make significant gains in popularity. Abhisit is in charge. Thaksin will be fighting terrorism charges ...

Did you see in another thread that Thaksin is denying any involvement in the latest events :)

So whose money was paid to the Red Protesters ?

Who's money paid for the yellow? Why is it so hard to accept that Thai's have a sincere desire for a true republic, economic and educational opportunity and freedom which they don't have under the current junta.

Wished we had a junta, then we would have been relieved from your comments in 5,4,3,2,1, now

  6. What has he been doing since he seized power?

Giving more free education to monkeys who not care to be sent to school by there braindead parents from CM-CR etc

The rest of the time he has been defending the country from low-life crap as that you are.

that's for a lot of us enough for now, he has brought more good to uor country as any red-scum will ever do or have done.

What did you bring, violence and destruction, well done moron

  7. There's an underlying smugness to quite a few posts in this thread. Something along the lines "Yer, those Reds got their arse kicked good".

I guess when your only got slingshots and Molotov cocktails eventually you do get your arse kicked when the other side has lots of guns, grenades, snipers and APC's!

But it ain't over! There is no sea change for millions of Thai's that want a better life for themselves and their families. The PM may talk of change, but words don't make for a better life for the average man on the street.

There has to be new clear programs to promote social justice, fairness in the workplace and some sort of safety net for people to fall back on in times of trouble.

Unlike the present system of limited services (should that be almost non-existent?) to the community and a basic meal at the Wot for the needy, a new system needs to be seen to be working in a fair and honest fashion.

Otherwise, the problems will fester under the surface only to blow up again in possibly worse ways.

Wednesday on Petchaburi road no slingshots, but M16's and Uzi's plus handgrenades, keep it real man

  8. Every single Thai I know supports this man - I hope in the weeks and months ahead, he shows everyone a path towards peace, reconciliation and unity.
That's odd. Many of the poor Thais I encounter daily working at street cafes and convenience stores in Bangkok tell me they despise the SOB. One old woman who often serves me dinner took her sandal off and beat Abhisit's image as he was speaking on television. :)

and after you ate her sandal, right you SOKKEPOK

  9. 85% of Thais you've spoken to? Wow - that's a lot! I mean, only 43.2% of Thais I've spoken to watch American Idol regularly. So that must mean there are wayyyy more disenfranchised Thais who hope for a "regime" change than there are American Idol fans. That's crazy!

Wait, there's another 82.7% of Thais (I know because I ...um...like actually took a real poll like and...um...counted and shit - which is how I arrived at such a specific percentage) that actually believe that what some people call swastikas are actually Buddhist symbols! So that means there are more nazis in Thailand than there are red shirts.

Were you replaying on someones post or just talking to yourself??

been hit by a sniper or so???

  10. Every single Thai I know supports this man - I hope in the weeks and months ahead, he shows everyone a path towards peace, reconciliation and unity.

Every Thai I know hate this man. He can not do anything, becouse he is a marionette of persons, who order to kill Thai protesters.

You can not write, talk or speak English and that's a stated fact.

Now you come with some facts to back up your looney tunes please

  11. I know one "Red" who will not be returning to the Udon Thani in a hurry. The wife of Khanchai Prypana, Arphorn Sarakam, who was stopped by Police, at Wat Pathum-wanaram. Hubby is already in custody at Phetchaburi. Anyway, wifey was in the Merc 500 SEL, heading out of town. Guess what the Police found? Diamonds! (did you ever wonder what happened to the merchandise at Central World, it wasn't all Italian brand name clothes that went up in smoke). But wait there is more - they found a stash of weapons.

So what is this about, the "new money" leading the poor, against the "old money"? Very tacky.

Have you got the source for that?

Not doubting you -- just not read it anywhere else.

I heared it on the news today but can't find it on internet yet

  12. When PM dissolved the house before, this never happened !

Blaim him for all the unnecessary killings.

...yes...sure!!!!...and give in to these radical corrupted bastards....Great Idea !!!

This poster had before posted pictures of anti- PM t-shirts on twitter and his website http://startrading.net

he's a fake as is all of his wear he sells I guess

Bet he ain't enough yet to fly to Montenegro or Dubai

  13. Really? I don't think any supports the PM's actions at all. The PM's and his yellow followers are not Buddhist at all but are killers of Freedom. If this Junta government stays power they will need to change the name of the country to something other than Thailand because it will not be a free country.

    YOU BETTER SMELL THE COFFEE!!

did you see those monks being arrested 2day???

  14. Every single Thai I know supports this man - I hope in the weeks and months ahead, he shows everyone a path towards peace, reconciliation and unity.

Why doesn't that surprise me? Being a member of PAD I should imagine you are quite cut off from the rest of the world.

Every decent Thai I know thinks he is the leader of the most evil government Thailand has known for decades.

Don't think the rest of the world doesn't know what went on in Thailand in the last few days. All the manipulation of the Thai press and the take over of Thai Visa Forums will not suppress the truth indefinitely.

The people of Thailand will learn the truth over time.

However, I too hope for reconciliation and unity, but that won't come through people like you.

    Were you there???

I was wednesday on Petchaburi road, they were shooting from the sidestreets with M16's to the army, trew handgrenades into 7/11 and family market after looting them.

This is no government press, this is the truth.

P.S. was never more scared in my life then wednesday afternoon/night

  15. Abhisit has no support internationally at all.

This goverment is not qualified to deal with the real grievances, they havent made any progress with reconcilliation (actually they did the opposite) so what makes anyone think they can heal the country?

One thing is for sure, the governemtn propaganda machine sure has brainwashed a lot of people.

Examples please, no made up accusations plse

  16. Kasit knows where all the foreign ministries are based. I am sure the government will be only too happy to pay for him to visit the US to plead the case. They may take him a bit more seriously this time when he asks them to deal with Thaksin.

Problem is, largely, the government finds it extremely hard to make a case to the world concerning exactly why Thaksin has been found guilty in the first place, then beyond that, they find it extremely hard to understand how Kasit can even be in this job having rather stupidly joined the PAD protests.

I see a common problem here. Maybe Kasit is the problem when it comes to the government being able to explain to the world why they should arrest and extradite Thaksin. The government knows that there is every chance in the world that any extraditing country would turn around and deem the old charges politically motivated so they daren't try. I wonder if they will do any better with the "terrorism" charges. Oh of course, they appear not to want to pursue that one. I wonder why.

    <snip>

The Australian government tried to extradite a rich Australian (Christopher Skase) from Spain a few years ago. He had been convicted of various fraud offences. They failed miserably.

Extradition isn't an easy process. Especially for something that is related to politics.

But now Thaksin is facing "terrorism charges" and most countries can not afford to not cooperaten on theso charges

  17. So how many people have actually been detained after all this? I see hundreds going home on buses but very few of the "terrorists" being apprehended.

was wednesday night at payathai police station, and several people were brought in, some of them Burmese and cambodian nationals.

didn't get if they were arrested for looting or other matters, but police was not friendly with them

  18. One can ask himself what is the magnitude of the sense of injustice as perceived by the protesters

who have a lot of followers in Isaan , that they are willing to die for their cause ?

Oh yes , forgot , they all want to die for Thaksin , so am told by posters here .

or 500 bahts per day , i heard that one too

It would be comical to hear it again... if not so tragic .

Seems like you try to get in the Guiness book of records!!!

The most posts in a week!

The one with the most noncence you already won!!

the name Seh Deng came just available!

  19. My wife is originally from a village just outside one the North East cities under curfew. She rang her brother last night, who runs a small (vetry modest) convenience store outside of the village and does fence contracting, among other things. Hardly wealthy. He said that he, and most of the people in the village, detest what Thaksin and his followers have done to Thailand. They are all out wanting them to be routed.

So any suggestion that everyone from Issan blindly supports the Reds is blantantly incorrect.

    Couldn't agree more,

my family comes from Loei and were TRT before but now they spit on Thaksins foto every morning
