  1. :blink::cheesy:

If people learn to belt up, such death could be prevented, or at least minimised. I guess the little girl is belt up, hence she walks.

Others should learn to Shut Up!!!

Never mind Piangrudee's belt thing. It surely can save lives, but not all. Especially those con men on electric chair.

On the case, if Ms. Pear is at fault, she will serve times. Thai laws do have mercy on the youngsters, still they will be punished in line with damage/ injury severity, and their age.

  2. If the documents are not available to the public can they still be considered "leaked" ?

How many days has it been now? What could possibly be the delay in producing the report along with all its damaging content? Are they waiting to drip-feed other revelations in the report to the media? But what could they be given we've already seen the alleged conclusion which might as well be laying the blame on Elvis...?

The longer they leave us waiting, the more this begins to smell of Juttaporn.

You could equally argue that they have not been released because they is more damaging info to be seen. It seems very odd that, since there seems to be no doubt that these reports exist, they have not been officially made public since this would be the easiest way to prove that the 'leaked' reports are a fabrication. I assume the problem with this is that the government would have to act on them if this were the case.

There seem to be far too many posts on here trying to discredit these leaks rather than calling on the government/DSI to officially publish them so that the 'truth' can be known.

It's the UDD asking us to believe, not the DSI. Okay then, show us.

Orac's way is right to ask if the Gov. and the Army hide the fact from us. If Jatuporn made things up, it's DSI, and CRES, and the Government duty to explain the killings, or at least give full cooperation to Khun Kanit's panel. mad.gif

  3. From The Independent, UK last month:

When Mongolia's spy chief stepped off an Aeroflot flightinto Heathrow a few weeks ago, he expected a welcome befitting a foreigndignitary arriving for high-level talks with the British government on a newera of intelligence co-operation. After all, preparations for his visit hadincluded an invitation to meet Downing Street's National Security Adviser.

But rather than being ushered through Heathrow's VIP loungefor talks in Whitehall's inner sanctum, the chief executive of Mongolia'sNational Security Council and the one-time head of its security service was metby Scotland Yard detectives armed with an international warrant for his arrest.

Mr Bat Khurts was arrested for the alleged drugging andrendition of a refugee who was later tortured in a Mongolian prison.

The case has echoes ofthe arrest of Chilean dictator Augusto Pinochet in 1998. Lawyers for the spychief, who was travelling on a diplomatic passport, claim his status means heis immune from prosecution and was the victim of double-dealing by the Britishgovernment.

Now, who, in his right mind would walk into such a crude trap? rolleyes.gif

  4. I'd like to know what steps are being take to catalogue and preserve these documents.Even if the owners aren't prepared to research them fully, I would have thought it was their responsibility to see that these images are at least preserved for future generations to research.

Hmmm....quite pretentious and presumptuous. So you are assuming that because the presentation that might be displayed within these forums, as per your specifications, these historic images are vacant of full documentation, cataloging, and extensive footnotes/briefings elsewhere? How can you be so sure that such extensive research and developed tasks of archiving isn't well in place already? Just because they're not presented in such a manner here certainly doesn't mean such fully enclosed cataloging and complete documentation regarding these items isn't ongoing.....elsewhere. Things are never what they appear to be, are they? Ignorant assumptions are easier to fabricate. The historic images that I have acquired number in the thousands....most which haven't been presented here on TV. I do trust that you might step off your high horse, for your false redundancy is easily scanned through. I'm quite sure that your "sincere" point of public responsibility and said preservation for future generations is made up of <deleted>. Have a nice day.

Please take a look at my question again and tell me - what assumptions are you referring to?

I AM now assuming you aren't an English speaker, but can I gather from your post that your don't really understand the nature of image conservation techniques or the significance of old imagery interpretation?

Most of the photos and graphics collection here are well preserved, maybe not all together and cataloged though. You may found them at Office of National Archives of Thailand, Fine Arts Department near the Grand Palace. Thai Film Archives Public Organization of Thailand near Pra Pin Klao Bridge. Nevertheless, my gratitude to ZZaa09 for giving me a chance to look at them again here.

  5. He knew someone would discover the body at some point and he had resigned himself to his fate of going to prison. He didn't run or try to conceal the murder.

Actually he did try to conceal the murder by blowing the stench of the decaying corpse with a fan.(from news in the original thread).

So you consider blowing a fan in the direction of the body was his method of concealing the murder for which he never expected to get caught?

I say he was resigned to getting caught but just wanted a bit of time to think. He wanted and expected to be punished.

He certainly wouldn't have been hanging out in HER apartment if he didn't want to be caught, would he? In 3 1/2 weeks he could have easily skipped the country.

I think the rotting corpse is freaking people out so much they can't see the obvious.

Other news said they were husband and wife. They quarreled, he strangled her and stayed with her rotten body for days. They didn't say she was a pros. Another life wasted, nevertheless. RIP.

  6. Just to keep you up to date, pics today when taking the coffeee fix, strange boat (Must be High Season).

Officials suspect the blaze was caused by a short circuit

  9. I like the look of K. Samrit T, she, (or maybe a he with GF avatar) is funny, but she made carefree comments, and out of this world mostly.

No, I think we would never ever learn the truth. Only to blame those in charge at the time, those with deadlier fire power, over size in number and weaponry, and those who will benefit by the truth untold. I don't need a doctorate degree, nor hard evident to point my fingers at TG and RTA, CRES and DSI who are hindering the case. To say the reds shot themselves is insulting.

  10. We are talking about today, tomorrow, even the border line is there people from both sides can roam freely and the line will lose its meaning. Everyone knows this part of the world was ruled by many tribesman not only Khmer, but Mon, Myan, Malay, and many others. Should we brought history to make claim, then U.S. must return the land to the injun, Great Britain back to Roman, Saxon, and Angles yes?

Present day we have the line. Argument here is where it lies. Refer to Siam Franco treaty it lies at the major watershed divide, so between River Che and Tonle Sap teh line is right where the shrine was built, on the cliff and along the edge of Korat plateau. People who built the shrine were under Khmer ruler, and the labour were nobody else but the local high land Khmer who are today Thais. By document it is on Thai side, by geological method , it's on Thai side, by ethnic approach, can't clearly divide these people in the area only the terms high land khmer in Thai side, and low land khmer in Cambodia. Therefore, teh shrine seats on Thai's land, period.
