I agree,it's not the Eagles fault if the umpires want to make it out alive from a 40,000 strong fortress.
I will look at the game again later,me backing the Swans may have influenced how i interpreted the decisions.
Haha! Dockers V Roos round 5..
I'll "BOOooooo" the umpires whatever they guess,,
It's good exercise for my lungs....

Alex said,, "Its obvious JO has caught the dreaded Dockers Flu the free loader goes to all there games free of charge, we also know his daughter or mrs or someone he's involved with is studying Law at a good uni called Melbourne university, never lets me know when his coming....ho and the cheap charlie wears copy Ray Bans, my dog choo wears the real deal.....His fantasy playing is like his tipping....."
Got back home from the Dockers V Dogs game at Subi somehow,,
Marty, Ken and I thought it was going to be a blowout so hit the Subi bar for some liquid anaesthetic to soften the blow before the game , had the standard one drink per quarter during the game,, our smiles getting wider and our voices getting hoarser ,, (the umpires got some advice) and then the after game celebrations matched the pre game drinks plus some.
Great day at the footy.

Nice to see the Dee’s in the four,
Sad to predict they are going South next round when WCE tame the Tigers and Melbourne get run to ground by the boys in the horizontal blue and white hoops.

On the idea of trying not to have favorite team, I think there is some sort of hard wiring in our DNA to push us for favorites. I have maybe 5-6 teams I prefer, but dang it's hard not to have a fave for any number of reasons that pop up after get some emotional response.
BTW, why all the hate for Collingwood? Are they similar to hate for New York Yankees in much of US? It's not like they dominate and take the fun out of the game....
Oh, and limit is now 90 interchanges (I think) and some want it to be less. Seems like ought to up the number a tad, say 100 or 110. I prefer seeing players fresh v "the running dead".
Occasionally I try to promote Aus rules with my American friends (most of whom like US football). WSJ did study showing average US game has 7 min of action, furthest runners only go about 1/4 mile tops, all that armor (or armour), field 3x bigger, game doesn't stop if get clobbered.... wondered about those pink folks out there at first. And on and on. Imagine Aus rules won't catch on. US seems to be lacking cricket grounds. And when could they do all the ad breaks?
I like your comments Emster23.
Obviously an intelligent being to fall for the best footy code in the world.
About your not having a favourite team?
If you want to favour a team that will tax your resilience and passion,, Try the Dockers..
Guaranteed years of disappointment with the odd unexpected highlight.

I watched the Eagles SK game and was disappointed with my choice of the Eagles because they were losing. My son was making me Majhitos and I hung on until three quarter time when I fell asleep only to find they came back and won. I do not know about the umpiring, I did not notice any bias although in some games I think they do make some decisions that are questionable.
I think umpiring is difficult at any level, I did umpire and run the line for soccer when my children played and even then I was accused of being biased against their team as well as the opposition. You are making decisions on the run and you are human I would be surprised that at a professional level there would not be any knowing bias shown.
I enjoy reading the banter but I agree getting personal is not really called for.
Sent from my iPad using Thaivisa ConnectYou can tap into the mojito’s and nod off anytime that the Eagles are losing, if a run over win is going to be the result.

BTW,,, I hate Thursday night footy.
I can’t relax and concentrate on footy for the weekend when I am expected to front at work on Friday morning.
It sucks.
Good Friday footy is a positive move,
Should have 3 games around the country at our wonderful stadiums.
Maybe only fish and chips could be purchased at the food concessions.
...keep the Catholics happy.

Troubled former AFL star Ben Cousins has been sentenced to 12 months in jail and fined $2400 for stalking and drug offences.
Cousins, 38, was sentenced in Perth Magistrates Court today, having previously pleaded guilty to 11 offences, including aggravated stalking, breaching a violence restraining order and drug possession.
When the former West Coast captain was arrested, police found eight grams of methamphetamine in his possession, which his lawyer Michael Tudori told the court would only last him four days.
The violence restraining order was taken out by his former partner Maylea Tinecheff, with whom he has two children, aged three and five.
The court heard the VRO breaches related to Cousins visiting the children's school and church, and making repeated phone calls to his former partner. Cousins called Ms Tinecheff 371 times in February before his arrest, including 50 times in one day.
Grow up xxxxwit
Ringing the X 50 times in one day???

You might be heartened to know i thought we could still tweak out teams right up untill the first game tonight....but no just 2 trades this week so i got caught....still im confident of giving you a run for your money as i was tweaking constantly the last 2 weeks....the back room staff have been tremendous, we finnished of a number of JW Black and the MacBooks been working overtime, the staff are expecting a tight contest with you so may the best man win....good luck...I can’t believe how lucky I am that you are as tardy and incompetent Fantasy coach as I and we have both missed the lockout.
It’s going to be all up from here.

Fear the home ground advantage no more, with 7 away teams winning.
Thought my Kangaroos leadership group were awful with goal kicking and moving the ball forward.
However i then watched the Purple haze and thought Neesham was coaching again.
500th game. It was nostalgic. Nice atmosphere with plenty of the old comments and advice from the past.
I did miss "Kick it to Pav!!!"

Where did you get those Borocca Vit B complex Alex?
