On July 24 I wrote the TM47 form online which was accepted. Today August 7 it is still pending. The previous report expired on August 1. Tomorrow should be the deadline (correct?). Can I have to wait until the online system send me the new updated report even if it arrive beyond tomorrow or I must go to Chaeng Watthana not later than tomorrow?

    Thank you

I think that my today experience will be useful for everybody. I went to Chaeng Watthana this morning ( August 8 ) and around 13.45 I showed my TM47 request. I showed also the email of the immigration office which I received yesterday (August 7) around 17.45, inviting me to go to the Immigration Office asap because my online application was rejected. The officer did not mention anything about the delay, she performed her duty and just informed me that the rejection was due to the fact that it was my first 90 days report after changing passport. Therefore 7 "real days" beyond the expiration are ok ( from 1st to 8th ). Thank you and bye bye. Case closed.

  3. Thank you all for your answers. About appointment on-line in Chaeng Wattana..... I have found the link to it inside the website of the immigration. I was directed to a page where I could set the date and the time of the appointment. I received an email from an outside service which demand a payment for this service (!). It seems that the appointment is just for people who provide previously all documentation on line and then go to the appointment to get the extension on the booked date. But it seems that this is not available for extension of stay non-o child support (my case). So it is not possible to take any appointment in this case. Is it like this or I didn't understand anything?

  4. I have a simple question for which I could not find the answer here.

How many days in advance prior to the expiration of a non-o extension of stay is it possible to request the extension in Chaeng Wattana immigration office?

    Thank you

Are you applying for a extension based upon being the parent of a child attending a school (500k baht in bank needed).

Or are you applying for a extension of stay based upon the parent of a Thai. Nothing should be needed for that extension other than proof she is attending a school and that would be you local immigrate office wanting it. There is nothing in the written orders for the extension that requires it.

For an extension of stay based upon the parent of a Thai. The point is that my daughter means to terminate attending any school this or maybe next year. What if she doesn't want to continue the study further? There must be a limit of time beyond which this is not a requirement anymore for applying the extension. Or they demand that she has to go to school all her life long? I guess that this could be related to the compulsory school period in Thailand , but I am not sure and anyway I don't know what it is. I guess that I am not the only foreigner staying in Thailand with this kind of permit. Somebody should have a precise information about this. Thanks for any help.

  6. I am a single dad of  a Thai citizen 15 years old . Until now when applying for the yearly extension of stay (as a single parent of a minor Thai citizen), I have been requested to provide a certificate of enrollment in a school released by the school itself. My question is: when this requirement will be stopped to be fulfilled? I guess that there is a limit of age or curriculum, beyond which I shouldn't be obliged to provide such proof. My daughter will turn 16 in November and is going to finish Year 10 (British curriculum) at the end of this week. Our area is Pattaya.

    Thank you

I would say it's a personally verified piece of nonsense for many of us.  I had mine just after the three month mark.

It depends on the vacccine used for the first two.  There's a table posted in one of the threads on here with the details.  I know for me I was 2 x AZ jabs initially and the time was 3 months before I could get the (Pfizer) booster.

Next time you read my post better. I talked about 2 previous PFIZER shots and 6 months are still required to get the booster. Nonsense is yours.

Do you know what is the required minimum time from 2nd shot to get the 3rd? Got my 2nd mid Sept in Europe and need to find the third one here as it seems no travels to Europe anytime soon. Where to find the vaccination availability dates?

Yes. A minimum  of 6 months is required from the 2nd shot to get the booster. If you just go, i.e., after 5 months and a half they will reject you. This is not an opinion. It's a personally verified fact.

Was it a full shot or a half shot?

I don't know, so I have the sure answer for you. Although it's true that half dose of Moderna is recommended, I never read such an advice for Pfizer. Moreover the syringe and its content look the same I had previously. But this is just an opinion, not the law of gravity.

  10. for the benefit of all.

i had 2 shots of pfizer in europe 6 months ago.

yesterday i just walked into the sport arena of pattaya already mentioned without any reservation, just passport and european certificate of vaccination

i waited 4 hours in queue

    they registered me

    i got my 3rd pfizer(free)

    i went back home

check the calendar of the vaccination days and go when you want

for further info call banglamung hospital (they manage this)

  11. In this case, what kind of documents must be provided to the I.O. and specifically a similar deposited fund is required? If yes, should it be in the parent bank account or in the child account? Thank you.

  12. What if my 3 months non-0 visa expired and I requested the extension of stay and I am waiting to have the stamp on my passport (currently under consideration), so that I am about at 100 days after my arrival date? I have to do the 90 days report now or I have to wait to get the stamp? Do the 90 days start from the extension of stay stamp or they are already expired so I have to rush to the immigration (Chonburi) for a 90 days report ? Thanks for clarification.

  13. Anybody knows if there is just a single queue to get the ticket (for any sector)? The question is not irrelevant, because usually people going to Cw to get just the stamp after 4 weeks of "suspension for approval" are quite few, compared to the moltitude there for all other reasons. But this advantage would be cancelled if I have to wait hours just to get the ticket.... and as I already spent 7 hours in CW to provide the immigration with all the due documents few weeks ago, I'd be glad to avoid a second round of torture ????

  14. I should go on on next April 10th to get the final stamp on my passport for the 1 year extension of stay (family support), after having got the "under consideration" stamp about 4 weeks ago. I am not happy at all to go again to CW for the well known reasons.

Can I send an agent or a relative or anybody else to get the stamp or am I obliged to go in person?

Do I have to bring again my bank book as I had to do in 2019?

    Thank you

  15. Extension required few days ago. 85% of immigrants wearing mask, very few officers with any protection. The one who handled our case had no mask and no gloves. Extremely crowded as usual, we finished in 7 hours for a normal non-O extension (without any technical problem). No comment. By the way: we refused 2 taxis because their drivers had no mask. I suggest this policy to everybody.

  16. 1 - contact your embassy. I contacted mine. They guarantee that the Thai immigration will extend your visa or permit for 30 days with a letter released by the embassy, until you can get away from here.

2 - some countries (like mine) are organizing special flights to reimpatriate their citizens stuck abroad; so contact your embassy also for this

P.S. : these are direct information got from my embassy , not second-hand rumors

I decided to do it earlier because I did not want to spend all day at CW.  I don't live too far away from CW so not a big deal for me. Just my choice.

In 20 years in Bangkok, nobody ever asked for a TM30 to me. My last extension was on last March. I provided the same stuff, including a copy of the rental contract, the lessor passport and the lessor blue book. Is this maybe the reason why nobody ever made this kind of problem to me? A wisely informed answer would be appreciated. Thank you.
