  1. And what about mixed couples living abroad ?

my wife will book from France so we’ll pay thaï price but when they find out they will charge half of Thai price for her and half farang price for me ? They must have headaches for having such ideas.
god knows we love Thailand but if they do so, we will have holidays in Europe : Greece, Spain, Portugal, Italy Croatia many great and affordable places to enjoy !

    cheers

  2. Hi everybody,

Wifee and i are wondering about spending a week or so in Samed when we’ll be in Thailand in June and july.

What do you think about it and do you guys have some tips about a good resort close to a beach not too expensive but clean and nice, and about the area where to look for ? We are not too much on bars and nightlife but appreciate good restaurants and live music !

thank’s in advance for your answers !

    cheers

    Fred

  3. I live in Paris but even here, I never buy cheap wine. I dont drink wine everyday so though i’m not a rich man i never buy a bottle less than 10€, because expérience taught me it’s not worth it.

I bought once a bottle at Moonsoon Valley near Hua Hin, and though it was tasty, you can’t call it wine (30€ or so if I remember well !).

    cheers

I had a trip back to Scotland booked for last May, cancelled of course. Brother had already purchased 2 concert tickets for big acts and I had a list of things to do.

    Miss my twin brother

    Miss real beer

    Miss Indian food

    Miss rock/blues live music

Miss getting vaccinated (brother Pfizered ages ago).

Fortunately the list of things I don't miss is much longer, and the plus points of being here longer still.

Can't see me ever getting use out of my unredeemable, non refundable British Airways voucher.

If you miss blues live music, try the Saxophone in Bkk at Victory Monument

Always good rock, blues or jazz bands

Sorry for your plight... but thanks for posting. We all have some bad habits...

The reports I have seen are that those E-cigs are a fast train to disaster...

I did have a cancer scare when I was 48 - I used it as an opportunity to slow my life down and appreciate everything by proceeding mindfully...

You can still enjoy the days you have...

you are right about e-cig but it’s a good way to quit cigarettes provided you quit e-cig fast ????

    cheers

    You're all crazy.

All you have to do is speak the language, be a nice person, and join a football team.

I've got lots of local friends.

    Really.

I agree 100% and in my case i wd only change football team with rockn’roll band (though i’m not too  bad on the  pitch)
