sorry but that is nonsense, I ride around Bangkok all the time, and I always see Thais stop and help if there has been an accident. But I suppose when you have a preconception about people and want to confirm your bias, then you can make dumb blanket statements like this.
i agree

wrong, at least in my own experience. My wife is well and alive in Paris since 2009, hope it can continue a little bit longer... she's a real "parisienne" now : she knows by heart the dates of the sales for the next ten years.
cheers

I worked in France for a while. French colleagues told me the French people were 'special" in this way. That they would only tolerate so much nonsense from any government, local authority or civil services; and were prepared to act when that threshold was exceeded.
All power to them. Many other countries electorate are to lazy, uninterested or accepting and governments just do as they wish.
it is true that french people stand up and demonstrate and sometimes violently when they have the feeling that the way they are ruled is not fair. This yellow vest thing is starting to spread already to other countries like Germany and Belgium.

because it's not an industry, it's a sport. the playing field is supposed to be at least relatively level.
Stevie, come on, don't be naive... amateur football is still a sport, professional football is show business: no business, no show !
I don't think UEFA will punish Paris because if they do so, they will be sued at European court of justice and they know they will loose

i hope PSG get punished for their blatant financial doping and breaching FFP rules, but there you go. ????
bonne chance fred.
why should football industry be the one and only field in which investments are limited ? And i beleive if Klopp had the financial means to enrol Neymar or Mbappé he would do so...

yeah bit disappointing all over wasn't it bob, our performance, their histrionics, jurgen's set-up. PSG are right sh*thouses but i expect better than that from us.
I think that Yesterday PSG was merely better than LFC and deserved to win the game, that's all. And dont forget that in Liverpool, Paris lost only at the very last minute. After all, not so bad for "sh*thouses" isn't it ?
I hope LFC will qualify for 1/8, because it's a great team with top players and coach though yesterday not at its best.
cheers,

something I really liked about Thailand is this feeling of freedom you can feel especially when you come from a western country. I don't smoke anymore but I like the idea of being rid off all those rules we have in Europe...

If pensioners over 50 cannot afford this amount to remain in the country, then I have to ask; what have they been doing all their lives?
it reminds me of this publicist friend of former president Sarkozy who answered a journalist about his Rolex watch and said that "if you cant afford a Rolex at 50 then you missed your life"
there must be a load of loosers, in and outside Thailand....

The only thing I could say : I would never exchange my uneducated isan Thai wife for any educated over qualified woman from anywhere in the world. Married 7 years now, and no regrets about a lack of conversation on the current economic climate...
My first farang wife was of this kind, and man, she gave me hard hard times...

1 France
2 Brazil
3 Germany (no Gary, they don't always win at the end of the game)
4 Argentina
(Sorry my Spanish fellows but I am tired to see Nadal Barça and Real and Atletico Madrid always win everything everywhere)
A remake of the 1998's final would suit me well...
Allez les Bleus !

My first time in SEA. I landed in Bkk late at night then the next morning at 5am had a flight to Rangoon. What a shock. We went to Mandalay for a few days then took the boat to Bagan. An amazing trip to the past. I miss the words to express my feelings.
I caught the fever of Asia at that time, never recovered since.

Drink with all people there and when back your wife will not forget what you did for her.
I agree, if they are nice people I would go and bear the few days there only to please my wife... but only if your wife deserves to be pleased !

I could have written this ! 11 years with my farang wife and sexual life close to nothingness. I remember thinking she's the kind of woman who deserves to be cheat on.
My thai lady is 9 years younger than me and always happy to make love though i feel a bit tired now that i get older and cannot have sex as much as i wish....
