I only use a dry herb vaporizer. So no damage at all to respiratory system and still all the benefits of smoking, such as feeling it right away as opposed to having to wait with an edible. The only downside to these devices used to be price with most of them coming in at over 10,000 Baht. But now you can get a really decent one made in Thailand for under 2,000 Baht (Anix Virgo) and a higher quality imported one for around 3,000-3,500 Baht (Xmax Starry 4).

I also recently discovered that AVB (already vaped bud) still retains about 25%-30% of its original THC content. Which means it's great for making oil instead of just throwing it away and it's already decarbed (from vaping it) so it's faster to make oil from AVB than fresh weed. So now I'm saving up my AVB and will eventually make some cannabis oil from it. About 15 grams of AVB will be enough to produce about half a cup of high potency THC infused MCT oil.

That's not my only downside... for whatever reason, the vapes make me cough a ton more than smoking... I really wish it wasn't the case, because I believe they are less harsh on my lungs.

  2. I'm giving this a try...

So, I'm pretty set for cannabis suppliers...  But, I recall quite a ways back having a couple of contacts on telegram or whatsapp who had "additional goodies" available.

If anyone knows such a contact, hit me up please.   Down is better than up for me, fyi.

Sounds good for your needs. But any extracts containing more than 0.2% THC are illegal in Thailand. So probably most people aren't taking that path. People looking for weed here will presumably either be smoking or vaping it. Also, using oils with extracts in a vaporizer or a dab rig aren't good for the respiratory system. Assume you're just ingesting the oil though.

Actually, for me, infusing oil is MUCH better for my respiratory system.  I consume it orally, and thus my actual smoking is reduced by more than 65%.   And now, I'm mostly smoking hash, as it also requires less smoke per effect, in my experience.

Contact them on Line it seems to be their preferred method of follow up (like so many Thai business), I have ordered multiple times and never a problem other than communication after the order, good luck

Thanks.  I probably ought have circled back there, but I think I just used the website here, and selected email to communicate.. likely my bad.
Bottom line:  The product finally arrived 7 days later than the first provider, so I guess they're honest, but slow....

  5. So this was a provider recommended above.  I placed and paid for my order 7 days ago, at the same time I placed a trial order with another provider recommended here.  the first provider's product arrived within 28 hrs. and was as advertized.

This provider has sent nothing, and not replied to 3 of my emails thus far.

I'm not making any recommendations here, just providing my actual data/experience.

Do with it as you will.

Nope. You walk around. I found the one I live in on 23 about 20 years ago. By walking the sois. The available for rent sign was tiny. The reason back then was that there are certain groups the owners will not rent to. I have 100sqm for 25k. very old, but it is true, location location location.

Yes, if I could do that, I certainly would have.  But I have pretty severe coronary artery disease, and I'd prefer not to drop dead walking every soi between Chidlom and On Nut.

Hence, my question.  But thanks for the advice.

The images are most probably fakes.... probably from some nostalgic production from the period.  The truth is, most of us were wearing elaborate costumes.  For guys, the hair was often more than enough for identity, and ostracism by "society". If I'm honest, bell bottoms and a blue double-pocketed work shirt with an Army jacket was my typical uniform from about '67 - 73/74 (when Nixon got the boot).  After that, the look became entirely co-opted, assimilated, and ultimately replaced by the first disco boom in the late 70's (Saturday Night Fever) era.

The hippie revival didn't really start until post-Reagan era. when anything in the past looked better than the cultural void of the 80's.

This is much more what we usually looked like, day to day.

  8. So, I've only been here for about 14 years, but it seems like the rental market has changed so much. Modern construction is typically quite small, often under 40 sqm for a 1 bedroom. In contrast, looking at a lot of the construction from the 90's and early 00's, the rooms are a lot larger, and there is often much nicer wood used for cabinets, tables and the like.
Many such flats are available in smaller buildings, sometime calling themselves unironically "mansions". I lived in one such place on Suk Soi 27 back in the day, and it was super convenient, and quite low priced.
I've spotted one or two such buildings/flats for rent on FAZWaz, but I'm wondering if anyone knows any other resources (other than walking the neighborhoods) for listings of this type of place.

  9. Very VERY specifically, I'm looking for a place to buy weed to make edibles and oil.  So, anything with a decent thc count and a price in the 100 grams for 900 or less is fine with me.  I just got ripped off for the first time tying to buy from a seller on Line, so if you have first hand experience with your suggested vendor, so much the better.  You can reply here, you can dm/pm me, whatever you'd like.   Line, Telegram, Whatsapp, all are fine for me.

  10. Wow, no idea where this thread has gone, but I'll try here first before creating a new one.

But again, all I want is legit contact information, so if you have any other suggestions/advice/opinions, you are, of course, welcome to post them here, but please do so knowing they are utterly useless to me.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

What did you not like about the LINE shop to which I linked you on the 20th?

Sorry, I can't recall the specific one you sent me... old age as much as cannabis, I'm afraid.

But, there were some product lines, i.e. edibles, and brick product suitable for creating edibles, things of that nature that I can't seem to locate anymore, since the line shops went away.  There are countless sites with very nice flowers in the 350-800 baht range, but I'd prefer to spare my lungs.

Anyway, it was like the were all there one day, and vanished the next...  so, I can't be the only one inconvenienced by that...

  12. ok, I'll be brief this time.  All of the online shopping results from a "kush" or "edible" search on Line Shopping are now gone.  There are still some websites, but they don't compare in terms of variety and pricing.

If someone knows of another comparable resource/manner in which these vendor now do business, please let me know.. on this forum, or you can msg me with the info.

    Much appreciated.

AND, never got ripped off..... Jeez, theres a weed head code guys!!!!  must be the younger generation of rip off and getting riped off, something like that... these days....

Bro, your memory is a bit limited.   I was thinking today about quality, and remembering getting sold a dime bag of oregano by a very hot hippie outside the Filmore East to see Joplin in '69.   And I was like 14,  I needed that $10...   luckily the usher had a 4 way hit of acid that she shared.   But, rip offs were an integral part of the drug scene from day 1.  It was much easier when you were trying to be low key, because you were committing a jailable crime buying a joint....

I've been batting about 90% with products purchased online here in BKK, both in quality and in weight... so, these are the good old days, imo.

  14. Ok, not sure if this is the place for this or not, or what's "ok" to say or not, so lmk.

So, I've only been purchasing cannabis here in BKK for about 2.5 months.  In that time, I became aware of the ability to use the Line Shopping feature with certain key search words to find ample product supply with delivery.

However, recently this isn't really the case anymore.

    So, two things:

    1.  is this a regulatory thing related to flower sales?

    2.  Can anyone suggest, if it's appropriate to ask, what alternatives exist for someone who's not in the middle of town and would prefer to simply order online.

    Thanks,

yes, but there's still a bureaucracy regarding notifications, i.e. local police/hospital, actual funeral home/crematorium, US Embassy, and transport service.   Fed Ex isn't going to do that.  And that's all the rigmarole that I'm seeking to spare my kids from having to sort out at that time.  BTW, I'm going with Asiaone.  The pricing is very comparable among those I've contacted, and they seem the most professional.  Anyway, I've done my best.  If it gets <deleted> up, I won't be there to worry about it anymore.

  17. So, I'm not getting any younger, and I'm quite alone for the remainder of my days here in Bangkok.

My kids are grown, in the US, and needn't deal with all the bs that I went through with my parents at their ends.

So, I plan on being cremated here, and having my remains shipped back to California to be disposed of.

Has anyone got any experience/recommendations for service providers in this regard?  I'm already in touch with AsiaOne and an outfit going by Be Assistance, apparently out of Cairo.  But any/all additional recommendations are appreciated, and if anyone has ACTUAL experience with the process, that would be most valuable.

    Thanks
