there are differences in build quality, software, warranty offered...and even in the components. Just because they use the same CPU, doesn't mean they use the same Motherboard or SSD or RAM or screen or...
I'm saying that if ALL of them would use the SAME hardware (not gonna write down the whole list of components, I thought you would understand what I was trying to say as there is NO need to focus on a specific brand) then there is NO difference in terms of BRAND. Brand would just be a name + different look

There is no difference inside any windows laptop or desktop computer. I mean no matter whether you buy HP, Dell, Asus, Acer, or whatever unknown brand, they all use the same components when looking at the same specifications.
The only difference is the software they use, which I don’t like, I prefer zero installed software when I buy a laptop or desktop pc, just a clean Windows.
The other difference would be your own taste, each brand has their own design and looks.
Simply put; an INTEL CORE I5-1135G7 / 8 GB DDR4 / 512 GB NVMe M.2 SSD / NVIDIA GEFORCE MX 450 by ASUS is as fast as a INTEL CORE I5-1135G7 / 8 GB DDR4 / 512 GB NVMe M.2 SSD / NVIDIA GEFORCE MX 450 by HP
It’s always better to look at what you need it for, especially if you are looking for something in a specific price range ????

Unfortunately we have only read access to the club's website. Only the rogue directors are able to change the content and upload their propoganda style board meeting minutes.
What i'm now considering doing is setting up a webpage with an infographic timeline of significant events with short descriptions of each event so that people can see at a glance what happened and when. The descriptions will be clickable radio button links to the respective pdf documents and additional information surrounding each significant event.
Ah that’s very unfortunate, however whatever you plan to do, be careful and I wish you best of luck ????????

Just upload it to the website of your club ????
If you don’t have a website, you can share it using platforms such as Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive or even Facebook by simply uploading the PDF file in the files-section of your Facebook Group or Page.

I personally host my VPS at CloudRambo (they are not the cheapest, but their support can speak English which is great, My Cloud storage I use DigitalOcean Cloud Hosting (currently trying out Hostinger, can reply after few months more regarding their downtime), I do also host a few test sites at DeeDeeHost Web Hosting because they are cheap, but unfortunately they only offer shared hosting, and I have had it with Hostneverdie, because they always die (when talking about their uptimes ????)
If you require good connection to the rest of the world, I actually would favor hosting from Singapore which is still fast enough to Thailand, and obviously you can no matter what, have your side mirrored to anywhere using Cloudflare, yes even Bangkok, Thailand (see here) -
Thanks folks for all the useful answers I was looking for!
Perhaps can trade in then my pjs for 650k and add 650k to get the new pjs.
Still wondering what the ford will be priced like. I hope in the range of pjs/mu7/fortuner so about 1.3 or so, just have this feeling it will be more like 1.5 as the ranger pickup is the most expensive pickup as well

Hi,
I currently have a Pajero Sport 2011 and very happy with it, but perhaps I can sell it for like 800-900k and go for a new model Pajero Sport 2015 or for the Ford SUV which is scheduled for 2015. A change sometimes can do good, unless it's just a minor change.
Here a few question I hope someone can answer... ;
1- does anyone when these 2 cars are available in the showrooms in Thailand?
2- does anyone know for around which price(s)?
3- what is my current PJS GT 2.5 110,000km worth?
4- is it possible in Thailand to trade in an old car and pay what's left in order to buy a new car? Or possible but will get a lot less than private sale?
Thanks in advance for answering my questions
Hans.

DHL charges 17,000 baht for shipping 2,3 kilos (3x 750ml shampoo) from TH to EU. According to their website.....

My mom (she is Thai) asked if can go to ThailandPost and ship a package/box containing 3 bottles of shampoo (each 500ml) from her Thai brand she likes to Europe (Holland)
As I knew already this is not possible and I got the same answer from several different post offices (big ones in BKK and smaller offices upcountry).
The only option would be something which they refer as "surf mail", so it will go by boat instead of by plane.
This will take like 8 weeks or max 12 when unlucky. For her this is not an option which I understand.
Are there any alternatives to still have it go by plane? Price doesn't really matter.
Alternative I tried myself and worked a few times is by don't mentioning your contents and/or say it's a gift and 2 out of 4 times it will arrive using "Registered SAL" of ThailandPost.
However, a 50% chance is not what I'm looking for, I want 99%. Any ideas? Please stay on-topic, I searched and found many shopping fluid topics all without answers, mostly only no or yes without other useful information. And ofcourse always people joking around.
Thank you so much in advance!!

BUT... have to put it in a small sprayercan and mix with water ? or just pure ? I dont know if this has to be sprayed in a concentrated form, because everything is written in Thai -
i made a pic of this spider.. only 1.5 inch though
also a cane spider (huntsman)? or probably just a wolfspider ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wolf_spider ) ? Because it's so small compared to the hunstman spider...
maybe a baby huntsman lol -

I found this spider on my yard in huahin, was wonder how to find out online if it's dangerous or not... I want to know because I've seen many but never this on and the size was about 4cm...
Most sites I found on google mainly are about spiders in Australia
Thanks

Haha ok 3 options now
1) Glyfosat/Glyphosate (can find at Tesco/BigC?)
2) Boiling water
3) Vinegar
I think I have enough options now. Maybe can do them together!! Boiling water, and when dry again after few hours or earlier some vinegar, and next day when that is gone I spray some Glyphosate! That should definately do the job
Thanks all! :-) -
Huhmm? So basically it's useless in the rain season?
Btw is there also a similar kind of spray/fluid/whatever-helps which will not only kill what's visible, but also kills the root and makes it never come back? Or is such (probably very toxic?) stuff only available for professionals?
Ps. I msged a moderator to move it to other forum but no answer as of yet, so I hope it's still allowed to keep commenting here in the meanwhile? Sorry don't want to make anyone angry...

I suddenly have weeds growing thru my little stones, there are 4 options, and I prefer option #4 but need help for that:
1) leave it (no, don't like it)
2) pay someone (no, prefer not)
3) remove stones and remove myself (no, too hot)
4) some kind of spray like this: http://www.ortho.com/smg/catalog/productTemplate.jsp?proId=prod70200&itemId=cat50064&nodeId=& but preferable something more close, like some spray I can by myself here (yes, but where? anyone knows which shop?)
Thank you so so much!
PS. I don't have pets nor kids (and no nearby fruits and/or flowers), so something strong would be fine as well for me.

We looked everywhere around the property. Did you hire like 2 people who actually do these kind of things every day? Maybe not a bad idea to have 2 professionals coming overhere so they can find and look where they actually come from.
If they are pro's, how can I come in contact with them?? Most around here seem scared and lazy

Our house in Hua Hin is constantly being surrounded by wasps.. there appears to be no big nest somewhere near our property.
So every day I remove the small nests they make in a few places around the house
(size of a half a thumb, after a week a Swedish meatball and after about 2 weeks they are like tennisballs),
so that's why every day I pay each place I see them a visit with my BAYGON spray.
It's not really effective, but at least they fly away, not kill them sadly, and leave it alone for an hour or so so I have enough time to remove it,
put in a plastic bag, close it and dump outside our moo-ban.
But of course having to do this every day (almost routine) is starting to get annoying.
Any ideas what I can do?
I already asked like everywhere for a spray similar to RAID for WASPS 33 or something from the USA,
apparently there are no such things as wasp sprays, maybe because it's much more toxic?!
LINK: http://www.raidkillsbugs.com/fop_w_h_k.asp
Anyway, I'm clueless and tips and advice are welcome to have a solution which should work LIFETIME, a permanent solution.
Having a local guy visiting our house every 2 weeks is not a solution, as a good solution would be to have no more wasps again!
NOTE: Not sure if this is of any help but the Thai seems to be very scared of this particular wasp.
They don't call this a {pheung}, nor a "tóh", but a "tèn". Will upload a pic next week when I'm there again.
Thanks sooo much in advance,- A terrorized family lol

dream on?
solar in thailand is not the way yet to go...even though the sunny weather makes you think.
just put up with the standard electrical bills for the time being.
just as a small project with few panels constantly when the sun shines make the power go backwards with about 100W and I will be happy. Not looking for replacing like my whole house with it haha. Just a geek here who wants to try things out without the need of storage, or receiving money for sending it back.
tingtong i disagree ....compared to other countries solar in Thailand is cheap to instal ... so Hansje yes u can do it, but you must check with the local district elect supply office, to see if your permitted to instal in your area...
what happens if I do it anyway, like how will they find out if I do it anyway? it will not work making it go backwards because I need approval? or do I need approval because it works but might not be allowed? thanks
-
Hey guys,
I've been reading many threads about solar power in Thailand, and my question doesn't seem to be answered anywhere.
Is it possible instead of earning money (because it seems impossible in Thailand) for sending back to the grid, to have at least your meter going backwards when the sun is shining ? That will be fine for me as well. If this is possible, how would I be able to do this? I'm not a electrician
This way you don't need environment unfriendly batteries and space for them as well to store power, but having the meter run backwards would be awesome!
Thanks in advance! -

It says here, test and go = max 1 day, and later it says : those fully vac , need 7 days isolation ???
i mean test-and-go = also for fully vac…
Can this be rewritten by the staff ? As this has contradictions now, as well as confuses people unnecessarily.
thank you
