if they allow high rise buildings it will be great for samui ,you cant stop progress
no it would be terrible.........but it will happen at some point ......don't be naive..........
-
its called progress............embrace it as you can't stop it..........
-
I just have one question?
Was Alan on the plane and trying to sneak outta Samui without paying his debts again or not?
(For legal purposes, the above mentioned was for comedic purposes only and does reflect in any way the opinions of this board, its moderators or of anyone with a sane mind.)
-
Last year I visited Samui and talked directly with the owners as such I know fact from fiction.
Further I've been in touch with lawyers in multiple countries and continue to discuss the status of this company on a weekly basis with them as well as other investors in multiple countries worldwide.
Don't pretend that there are extenuating circumstances that only you know about (Oracle) what has transpired with this company is a matter of record with the day of reconning coming........slowly maybe, but the ball has begun rolling and it's moving downhill.
-
oracle I sent you a private mail on this, if you have real information, please respond
oracle your lack of a reply says much

This is not he place to discuss peoples business affairs, I do have some facts but will not be posting them here thats for sure. I was merely stating that one should not believe all they read in a newspaper. I suggest contacting the person / company involved if you want facts as the runour mill on Samui is very fast but as a concequence inaccurate.
Actually this is the perfect place to post as this board is used by people worldwide and some of those individuals bought with CoCo and never had their properties built and as such want to warn others about CoCo.
And as far as contacting CoCo goes, they haven't answered phones, faxes and emails for a long time.
-
I doubt you know the facts of what happened the other day Beerguy apart from what you have read in the papers which is far from accurate from my knowledge.
Then pray tell let us be enlightened by your superior knowledge on the subject.
And for the record, I was informed by a text message that was sent out as it was happening. But thats another story.
and now for the silence............................

Another prediction from Beerguy as to the downfall of Coco, seems you have been wrong a few times about this subject. Sour or jealous?
Hardly wrong if they are finally arresting those involved in fraud.
I am sure this is just step one and was most likely a result of influence exerted by one of mister Saad's many satisfied investors / suppliers.
With hundreds of investors and suppliers owed millions and maybe even billions of bhat, I would hardly think this is the end of Alan's problems, more than likely just the beginning.

Coco confirms Sadd arrest
Coco International Properties has confirmed that its Managing Director, Alan Sadd, was the UK national reported as being arrested as he attempted to leave Thailand last Tuesday on charges of bouncing a cheque.
The Samui property development firm released a statement saying, "Managing Director of Coco, Alan Sadd was arrested on Tuesday 15 January as he attempted to leave Samui to fly to Taiwan."
The statement went on to say that The Bangkok Post, reported that Sadd had "admitted [to] bouncing a large cheque to a construction firm."
The Bangkok Post article in question also reported that immigration police arrested the Briton as he and a female Thai national were making arrangements to fly to Taiwan from Koh Samui airport.
60-year-old Sadd, who is both a pub owner and a real estate investor, is accused of failing to pay Bt750,000 to a construction firm he hired to work on a Koh Samui resort in 2007.
- Asia Property Report
Fact not Fiction
I have spoken to Coco International Properties today who have said they are very keen to hear from Asia Property Report regarding the statement they supossedly issued regarding this junk story. No statement was in fact made and since the facts were not even correct it seems highly unlikely they made this statement.
In fact they have asked their lawyers to contact Asia Property Report on their behalf to see why their
reporter made this up or to confirm which bar he heard it in....... lol
Investigative reporting at its best....lol
And finally the mighty are falling..............strike one.............next at bat is ?

Class action lawsuit in THAILAND ? thats a new one on Me !
No one mentioned Thailand !
-
a few months ago there was a lot of disussion about the above and the Coco company . since then we did not hear anything.
if I recall there was one of our members reported that some of the clients of the above had formed a group of buyers seeking legal help to try and save the investment in coco.
what is going on with the coco projects? I passed them a few days ago and it seems the first one they did there is still some construction,
the second one that looks nearly finished looks like a ghost town. some houses are finished but it seems no one stays there.
the third project has been halted for more then a year.
can anyone who knows the facts... and only facts shed some light on this.
As an investor in the now failed coco palm villas project, I and hundreds of others from countries around the world are persuing a class action lawsuit against the owners..........
I just hope this FACT doesn't cause this thread to be closed !
here's a good link.............http://www.cocoinvestor.org/home/

Their rental site is no longer valid so at least they can't trick people into renting our properties..........
A law suit was filed in Bangkok against the principles and hopefully now they have been stopped from promoting CoCo ...

At this point anyone even thinking about anything related to any of the coco empire has a right to know what they have done to hundreds of investors and that's why there is a need to get this information out to everyone and not just those that pay money to sign up for "The Association of Coco Investors".
I highly encourage anyone that hears of anyone interested in coco to be pointed to these postings on coco and let them make their own decisions.
and this one............http://www.cocosamui-villa-ripoff.com/?gclid=CPy_l5b4p4oCFQyaTAodelxcpQ
After reviewing these they should question barstool 1 and barstool 2 about these allegations and listen carefully to their explainations......
DON'T LET THESE PEOPLE RUIN ANYONE ELSE'S RETIREMENT DREAMS !!!!
You can make a difference if collectively extreme pressure is put on the above individuals.......
On a side note, does anyone have the mailing address for the samui jail ? I think I might need it to send some old "friends" a letter in the near future !
-
charma, got the info I was looking for from other investors, lawyers et al. and CoCo has no attachable assets so the outlook, as advised by my lawyer is to walk away, learn from this issue and go back to buying in other places. I have spent to much time and money and aggravation so it's time to move on.
Again, I hope you and any other investors can get whatever from CoCo, Alan and Bruce but don't set yourself with high expectations because as I'm sure you know, there is nothing left .........
Best of Luck !

I received a phone call last night saying a criminal suit is being filed against the company as two of the principals have resold spme of the properties and never passed along to proceeds to the original owners.
Finally some good news, those will be removed from their barstools before long........AMF
Charma, on a side note, I haven't contacted you as I have moved on and given up on CoCo.
I hope things work out for you and those that decide to persue this...
Best of Luck, Beerguy

I am surprised you have started another thread on this subject. After your last posts on this subject, I PM'd you offering more information, but you did not reply. I also posted on the thread asking you to contact me. No reply. If you are really interested in finding out the situation, please PM me, otherwise it looks like you are just making the post to encourage speculation rather than fact.
Hi Charma, Sorry if I missed your mail but have been overseas for an extended period and have been getting inundated with emails from people saying they have new information.
After the last meeting of investors in Hong Kong with Colliers all appears lost and as such I just wanted to speak with the owners personally before cutting the strings on this project.
-
Because they also own the CoCo villas developments and have stopped building them and don't respond to their phones emails, etc.
Word is they are bankrupt...........
Since the owners of CoCo practically live their lives at the bar in the Blues Company, I thought that would be a good way to contact them.....
-
thanks rik, don't mind watching it in the hotel room either as it's on so early
-
Has it been closed down yet ?
Did they file bankruptcy or just flee the country?
I noticed that their website is now shutdown also as well as phones, and I need to contact them urgently.
thanks
-
I heard that just the audio will be on yahoo this year.......did I hear wrong?
Yes, thailand or wherever it's being shown.......have watched the Superbowl in thailand several times in the past.......
-
Since the third world city I now live in (Hong Kong) is no longer showing american football, I need some other place to watch it.
Is it being shown in Thailand ?
thanks........
-
I'm sure those two are still sitting in their corner chairs just waiting for that tap on the shoulder that ends their careers as property developers..........still waiting to hear about their downfall............

Regarding horror stories, stay away from anything having to do with the CoCo branding.
