I agree. I don't think it's a problem unless you happen to be one of those smelly backpackers from the koa-sarn road area.

My advice is to enter the hotel premises wearing a nice pair of slacks & clean shirt, oh & for goodness sake don't swim in those awful 'speedos' trunks ... have a little consideration for the hotel residents

It'll be dead in a few months so no real harm done.

I ride my specially imported mountain bike to & from work each day, which is a great way to keep in shape. It did cost an arm & a leg to ship it over from Europe but well worth it as I haven't found its equal over here.

Not only that but with members using nicks like 'Ijustwannateach', I didn't really feel that that sort of pretention was my scene, despite doing the job that they all do, earning less than many of them and no doubt being in roughly the same age group.

Many of the posts were from people who still hadn't shaken off their student mentality and were all trying to morally out-do each other and using the anonymity of the forum to be who they thought they wanted to be.

That said, Bangkok Phil who appears to be the main moderator does have one of the best websites on Bangkok I have ever seen.
