  1. So you just used e-gates to exit the country, without stamping the PR book an Passport. Is it possible to use them on arrival also? Did you try?
  2. Any one have any recent info about whether PR holders can use auto gates to enter and exit Thailand?
  3. I don't think there's a legal requirement of having a valid Passport if you already have PR. If you don't intend to leave the country, you can happily let it expire and the Red Book serves as your legal ID in Thailand
  4. I can see a pattern, all Thaksin governments have had worst IM for citizenship and PR applicants. Maybe it shows a dislike from the top more
  5. Any change will be good as the current IM has already been the worse which could happen to the citizenship and PR applications
  6. Hi Tod. So you mean if you travel abroad and come back, you must have to report in PERSON again? And can't just continue doing it online?
  7. Doesn't work for me either. Still waiting for the MOI interview
  8. Yes. It's an international trip and you should get a new stamp on your return to Thailand
  9. I assume you memorized both songs. How was the singing and was it accepted gleefully? 🙂
  10. You applied based on having 5 year PR right? Did you have to sing the songs?
  11. From your own country, legalized with thai embassy there
  12. I did. But it's been a while. I think I used my credit card statement as address proof (showing my address in english offcourse) Also, make note that you need USD 25K minimum balance for the Schwab international account.
  13. Yes. I think it's time for all newly minted thais to accept that they will always be foreigner in eyes of thai people, albeit with a Thai ID Card. So just accept this fact and move on with your daily lives. There are a significant minority of Thai Indians, born and bred in Thailand since last many generations but they are still be considered Indians, with a thai ID card.
