Well if you are coming for that Tesco express its gonna be in Klong prao, just so you are not looking for it in the local Russian village aka Klongson!
But my guess is you are not moving to the island because its so full of convenient stores and big chains...and if you are, well you'll be disappointed
and yes the roads are dead traps in the making when it rains, its actually ok when it has been raining for some time, worst case is when the roads are just getting wet, its like iceskating!

Can't blame your current wife to not feel ok with this, I dont think you should try to look for ways to make her understand better...
I think you need to find a way to be less involved in your ex's life in order to keep your marriage healthy.

For someone not to be interested in your background as one of the posts states is awful...
Where you from, how you grew up is part of who you are today, so if you love your partner how can you not be interested, that would be a relation killer for me!
My hubbie came for a visit with me to my home country almost 2 years ago, we had been together in Thailand for 4 years by then and for him to meet my family, see how we live on that part of the world, made a huge difference in our relationship!
He enjoyed everything, was curious but it was clear to us that living there was not an option, he liked it for a visit but also due to us having a successful business in Thailand, we never even considered moving back to Europe [did I mentioned, he thought it was way to cold and expensive!]
We have a baby and I go back for at least one visit every year and he is very understanding of that, the importance for our girl to grow up knowing two cultures and two different worlds almost.
But I have to admit, it took us a while to find our balance and part of it def. was cultural but mainly it was me who decided to stay in Thailand...and that was as far as I had thought things through at the time.
I ended up working in our business depending on that income and moving in together straight away, which came natural to Mr. Carry but def. not to me!
Nothing really wrong with that except for the fact that I would never had done that, would I've met a guy in Europe, you usually take your time, go dating etc etc.
So to get to know someone by spending almost every hour of every day with each other was most of the time good but more often also a struggle.
But none of us gave up, it went smoother, we understood each other better and better, I got my own business now and we started dating after 2 years or so, going for dinner etc.
Now I cherish having found my true love, as in someone who's been through all my lows with me, who's seen me at my worst and I def. have seen his ugliest sides, we pulled each other through some tough times and it's a blessing, having our own little family now, i found some peace of mind in that, in just being happy with daily life and taking things as they come, living day by day...ugh maybe this sounds very boring

Hey ladies,
Looking for some good running shoes, since mine are pretty much broken.
Where are the good shops for sports gear?
Anybody knows if they would be cheaper or more expensive then states/europe?

Got a good cot for our baby but right now she is sleeping on a very thin traveler mattress, want to buy her a decent one, has to be 60 by 120 cm.
anyone know of a good store in Bangkok?
-
The underwear dep. of Central plaza in Bangkok is a massive floor with all the western brands and some really friendly and professional staff, after just having a baby and having different sizes in more than one way [really!] I didnt know what to look for and I got some really nice, good fitting and decent quality bra;s, not very cheap, average of 1500 baht.

My daughter is born in Europe, due to problems obtaining a tourist visa for the father of the child, he was not able to legally recognize her at city hall in my home town.
So he is not on her birth certificate.
It would be possible to get his name on the birth certificate but therefor he needs to be in europe again and we're not.
Now we're planning on getting married, I wonder if there's any possibility getting our child a Thai passport without having to go back to my home country?

Maybe chatting online with someone else with sexual intention] is not actual cheating but it sure as hell means something is wrong in your relationship....or at least I would think so, for me if I would be interested in another guy, I might have to reconsider my current relationship.

Woah, Im stilla little confused....soooo I finally get it right what paperwork to bring from Holland to even get married in Bangkok...now Im just wondering what visa I should apply for in Holland before going back, in the visa section theyre very helpful and told me just a single entry tourist visa and than u have to change it in to a non O based on marriage [and soon to be hubby has to show his share of paperwork etc etc]
But in the dutch forum someone told me you need a Non O so they can extend that one into a Non O marriage visa...now I am confused.
I want to be able to skip going out of the country every 90 days and just go to the local office instead [it was annoying but since we have a kid its even more of a hasstle not to mention the money...to keep doing that!]
Anyone?!

right I get that, so just a single entry toursit visa will do...?

That's exacty what I was thinking hearing another dull song of Lady Gaga, it's Madonna all over again and no I was never a big fan of Madonna but she broke some rules and was one of a kind...
But is that still possible nowadays? To be really original or in this case shocking? I think the youth has seen it all...from all the role models out there, I don't think she is the most sane one but def. not the one to be most afraid of as a parent.
Massive panties under that see through dress on the pic above by the way...Think my grandma's are smaller

I have the same as G00dgirl I guess, when in Thailand for a long period of time I start craving things from europe, missing family & friends and some general things and the way things are being handled in the west.
But when in Europe, I always want to get back to Thailand on the asap.
But for me after a couple of years, I'm glad with the best of both worlds idea....tbh Thailand is like paradise for many adn I am the l;ast to complain, I ave a very good life with my family in Thailand but a whole year no break in LOS, I think I would miss a lot from home...
So go as many times as possible and as SBK said try to enjoy the things u have in your current home...

For many years, canola oil has been widely used as an ingredient in infant formula in Europe, but not in North America due to safety concerns. Some health organizations do not recommend use of canola oil in infant formula largely because of concerns over possible accumulation of triglyceride in heart as a result of the small amounts of erucic acid (22:1n-9) in the oil. [8] While, a few organizations in Germany compared the safety of canola versus non-canola containing infant formula from week 4 to month 7. Absolute and standardized weight and length measures did not differ between the formula groups with or without canola oil. They concluded that infant formula containing canola oil supports normal infant growth as assessed by weight and length gain. [Clin Nutr. 2011 Jun;30(3):339-45.]
Well, I take the risk... I'm from europe, she would've gotten the same formula over there.

Bleach is sold in just about every minimart and 7 eleven, the most common brand is called Haiter and comes in different colored bottles. Kao Haiter bleach
Bloody hell not only isnt the bleach working that well the link doesnt either!!!
Bleach is basically halogenated Chlorine and very bad for the water and environment, in the "good old golden days" Indigo was used, in thai shops or on the markets you can still see smal packs of blue powder that is used as a last rinse with white linnens etc. after letto dray in bright sunlight - this was the original form of bleaching with out chemicals!
even better. does it work??
