  1. My has been paused since March 2020 --------- Guess why? I have always paused it whilst out of the country, restart on return no problem. I go to their desk in the Maya, they are very happy if only for 2 or 3 months otherwise it gets suspended and you have to call the help line to get it re-started, generally takes about half an hour to be up and running again.
  2. Your reading is correct, to get elected the person should get 50% of the votes of the attending owners (unless it is a 2nd meeting then it is less). But enforcing the ruling is different. You have to get the land office to reject the minutes of the meeting and/or reject the registration of the person concerned. In my opinion it is rarely worth a fight - getting people to stand for the committee is hard enough and if 1 or 2 of the committee got less than 50% does it really matter?
  3. You can enter the UK if you can prove you are a UK national. An expired passport is perfectly acceptable. Whether you can leave another country or the airline will let you board with an expired passport that is another matter. But as you have 6 months left your passport is not yet expired so there is no problem.
  4. Interesting question - can I add a rider? Can you do a self RT-PCR test at home and send to the lab for analysis? Is it accepted by Thailand? I read that some countries (don't know which) insist you go to a clinic to be tested.
  5. AFAIK the inside is the same, or very similar. It is the interface that varies between a SATA and M.2 NVMe device.
  6. How long does it all take and what date is the renewal of one's extension? I'm planning to arrive early January on visa exempt, immediately convert to Non O and extend with 45 days left in Chiang Mai. But I need to leave to the UK 90 days after arrival - I hope/think that should be enough time? Secondly are they dating the extension from the start or end of the Non O? I'd much rather my renewal date was in January.
  7. Thanks ubonjoe. - I had a horrible feeling that once I had a dealing with the tax people I'd have to keep on going in.
  8. What if you only have income from bank interest? I've just got about 1.5 Baht interest on which tax has been deducted. I got the impression that I had to do a return or face 200 Baht fine. Hopefully I am wrong.
  9. I have just found the same thing, I can no longer use the KrungThai app using wifi, it must have mobile data. Also Bangkok bank have decided my tablet is rooted - this is a new thing and is untrue. However both banks web pages work with no problems.
  10. If you lose the SIM there is little you can do about it if out of Thailand. But you can still keep it alive by topping up using your online bank account, in the case of Bangkok bank I have to use the app. Obviously you can not top it up using the phone since they send a code to your SIM - that you have lost! When back in Thailand you can get a new SIM made for the same number.
