Saw a news photo today of a lovely Israeli family of 4 enjoying a Phuket Hotel hot bath.

Seems unfair that foreigners can come and my Thai family cannot get vaccinated to go to Phuket, until maybe next year! 

I just had a thought.

I was  vaccinated in Hawaii last March.

If this keeps going on I may have to get in line here next March!

I started the process in early May. Logistics required I go.

This is crazy! I just booked a hotel in BKK for Monday-Wed.

I live in Pathum Thani . Can I even go to BKK?

Has anyone noticed that 2 days ago the USA advised against travel to Thailand?

My son has not seen his mother for 3 years

why not just let vaccinated people into Thailand and Thais into Provinces? If never- The world is doomed?

schools in Hawaii are open for in class or computer at home. The parents decide. But they all are open now. Seems like a good solution.

where was your hotel located. One person wrote the rule changed at end of April. I checked in in May and never saw any rule like this one?

I am vaccinated and had passed 3 tests. Anyone coming over better bring a thick book. 

I and my 11 year old son started the difficult journey from Hawaii  through the morass of documentation and expense to get to Thailand 10 days ago. 

We finally arrived at our Bangkok hotel and were tested and temperature taken twice a day.

Before leaving Hawaii I was informed we could spend 45 minutes a day at the "Relaxation area" by the roof pool. Even was shown a photo of this sublime place. This would occur after our second negative test on our sixth day. Well, that day came and I called the front desk to make arrangements to finally get some fresh air.

I was informed-"New Rule by Government"  We both must stay in room for all 15 days! OUCH!

Has this happened to anyone else?
