  1. Hi anyone have a list of venues hosting Thanksgiving dinners? Besides Friendship Beach any other options, more central or north of Central? Thank you and Happy Thanksgiving Day to any Americans.

  2. Hi I use Google calendars and load the feed in my email client and all of them have stopped working. The most I could find was something that made no sense to my non-programming brain. I use lightening via Postbox mail client. Not sure how to upgrade to V3 of the Calendar API.. facepalm.gif.pagespeed.ce.EuN79TyYk_.gif

Google has disabled V2 of the Calendar API.

  3. Hi my friend is a tireless animal rescuer on the island.. homing lots of dogs and taking them in. She came across these cats that have been "rescued" but totally confined in this cage. And the owner is leaving.

She is desperate to find homes.. and has had them fixed and vaccinated.
Please contact me if anyone needs a cat. Organic pest-control at its best! Also cats to very well in pairs, keeps them cleaner!

    Please PM me

    Thank you for looking!

  4. Isn't whey unhealthy? What about pea protein?

I found another article confirming that indeed Hemp Seeds in Thailand are illegal and a class 5 drug. Scarry stuff.

It is from the Bangkok Post but the full article is not available. I found this cached version. Again will not take my chances with illegal super food hemp seeds.

    http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:Ma61R6bp_soJ:www.420magazine.com/forums/international-cannabis-news/203828-huge-hemp-seed-shipment-seized.html+&cd=4&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=th&client=safari

  5. Excellent, this is exactly the kind of info I was looking for. Thai customs will seize anything but since the narc was involved that is a very strong indication of its status and will be sure to avoid buying hemp seeds in Thailand. I do know marijuana is a class 3 drug and there are plenty of other healthy foods.

  6. Hi I am looking for a shipping company from Phuket to USA. We will be moving next year as the time has come....

We do not need a whole container, but I think 2-3 pallets would be suitable. I am not sure really what the options are..

We have emailed Pusco like 3x and they are useless.. never reply.

We did get one quote from Big Move and have always liked their services but was wondering what other recommendations there were with companies who specialize in overseas shipments and if anyone had any

    Experience

    Recommendations

I am assuming as this is all personal items I won't have to deal with the same kind of customs officials back in the states as here.

Also what is the time frame, if leaving Phuket how long will it take to arrive weeks or months?

    Thank you

  7. Hi. Thank you for the info. So so sorry eeya about your cat.. that is something to consider as they "pest control" came and stuck pellets around the yard. I will go pick them up now. I need a rat out of the roof of my house. The cats take care of the garden ones.

The cat is fine. He rested for a while then stayed out all night. All is normal. His fur is oily from using the pumice oil (non cold pressed olive oil).

Can't imagine that nasty paper had non - toxic adhesive though. hmm. Good to know and again thank you for pointing out to me that the cat can eat a rat who eats poison and dies.

    I love my cat.

  8. Oh please if anyone has any updates.. I too will fly with my cat from Thailand to America and am worried about the long flight.. I will fly to Denver so may have to fly a Japanease airline and have to put him in cargo. Do cats survive that long???
What if i keep him in the carrier and he howls the whole time?

    Any feedback is welcome.

  9. We have a shelf with fly paper on it, the sticky kind to catch flies. Disgusting I know. We keep it where the cats do not ever go.. but tonight a bird came in the living room and the cat went mental trying to chase it as it was flying low. (Scared or injured from Veg festivals fire crackers I think).

The cat went right into the paper. I promptly ripped it off but of course he had glue on his hind leg and tail. I got some oil, pumice/olive oil and cleaned it off. But he did lick some of it before I could get it off, off or at least not sticky. He is usually out all night but is in the house now and I am wondering how toxic it is and what i can give him?

He is just in but does not seem ill. no signs of poisoning yet but I am super worried.

    Any thoughts or feedback?
