Do you know if it is possible to get an Iphone with a PAYG contract? As I understand it to get a regular contract one needs a WP (which I dont have)?

Children do not get fined for overstay. They will get an overstay stamp in their passport. Immigration do not seem too bothered and have even been reported as recommending it.

Thanks. Will having an overstay visa present any future problems for them? They reapply for 1 year O visas every year.

What is the exact situation regarding non-thai minors? Do they need to do visa runs? Or is it a case of they can overstay but the immigartion authorities do not fine them? Is this discretionary or actual policy?

Does anyone's children regularly overstay and if so what are the implications?

Does one need a work permit for work experience in Thailand as part of a college course? I am specifically thinking about the hotel management courses. These require a certain amount of experience in a hotel as part of graduation requirements.

Could a student come here on a tourist visa and do such unpaid work legally?

I am looking for a school preferably somewhere between Siam and Chareon Nakorn (Thonburi) where the kids are taught in English.

I have seen many schools with fees in excess of THB200,000/year but I was hoping to find something in the range of about THB80,000/year. Pretty much anything over THB100,000 (when we consider the hefty registration fees) is out of our price range unfortunately

I'm after a school for my six-year-old son (turning 7 in October does this mean he will go into year 3 in Aug/Sept?). I also have another son who will be turning two in July, so any advice on a good quality (bi-lingual or english speaking) child-care centre (or kindergarten) with reasonable fees would also be much appreciated.

If any native english speakers have spare time and need to earn some easy coin I need some transcriptions done. I have several interviews on audio file which I need to be put onto Word. The interviews are about 40 minutes each but since the interviewees are Thai and speaking, sometimes unclear, English it is actually quite tricky sometimes to make out what is being said.

I reckon each would take a couple of hours to do and I can pay around 1500 baht for each transcription.

If anyone is interested please PM me - would prefer someone who can do this speedily.
