  1. Mildly interesting that the only country that is facing this 'problem' is the USA. (Yeah Yeah, Russia too....) So is also mildly interesting that any other country in the world would consider using them.

Makes one wonder how many countries have been targets of TERRORISTS, and how many 'attacks' have been averted by the use of these full body scanners. Two?

Or how many will be in the future.

Or who is going to profit by the use of this 'service to the air traveler'.

    Nah. not interesting.

  2. For what it's worth....

We registered a Usufruct against a house that was bought by my Thai wife (we are legally married) and the whole process took 2 trips to the Minburi district office. First one was about 4 minutes to submit the paperwork and the second was about 7 minutes to receive the paper. Total cost was something like 150 baht. No hassles, no arguments, no problems.

  3. Central City, Bang Na has them. In the Home Works store.

They had about 9 in stock when I got mine in April.

Price was about the same as you'd pay anywhere

    else in the world.

If you google it, you'll find that there are a lot stores

in Bangkok that sell them. All shapes and sizes but

the larger ones are much more expensive than in

    the west.

The one I got is a model 225 (can't afford the high end stuff like you guys are talking about...)

and the price was within a few hundred of 3000 baht. 2800? 3100? something

    like that.
