You CAN drive in the EU/USA but you can not change it to a EU driver licence, you will have to pass a new test. (references on this on request)

In the EU you can drive with a Thai international licence for up to 6 months, then you need to take both the theoretical and practical exam to get a "EU" licence from a member state if you want to continue driving.

I can only reply that the Thai driving licence is NOT valid in the EU or USA.

I believe it is valid in ASEAN countries (Malaysia, Singapore etc.)

You can use a translator to cenvert to i.e. English.

I just got back from VTE trip and had to fly through BKK as well. Nok Air seems to only fly in summertime.

I used AirAsia to go there and Thai Airways to come back (better times on Thai for flight back). Not too expensive, I guess all in all about THB 8000 round trip.

"International" internet IS slow in Thailand, yes, with EVERY provider. There are many threads about this.

Your pings should be better though. Call customer support and they should correct it.

Usually I fly CNX to Udon Thani, but NokAir quit this route. Any suggestions?

Right now I am flying CNX-BKK-UTH which is still a lot quicker and way more comfortable then a bus ride, but would love to fly direct.

The flight CNX VTE with Loa Airlines is just to ridiculously priced imho.
